Clear your energy.
Wherever you are,
Settle into yourself.
Allow your eyes to close and bring your attention to your breath.
Resist changing anything.
Allow your breath to be exactly as it is right now.
Hollow out your sense organs.
Keeping your attention with your breath,
Sink your eyes deep into their sockets.
Relax your tongue deep into the back of your throat.
Notice how doing these two actions affects your mind.
Bring your attention to your spinal column now.
Begin with an exhalation.
Empty all the air from your lungs.
As you inhale,
Imagine the in-breath travels from the tailbone in a spiral motion up your spinal column as it moves all the way to the crown of your head.
As you exhale,
Allow your breath to travel in a smooth,
Straight line down your spine all the way back to your tailbone.
Repeat this process.
Inhaling,
Feel the inhalation move in a spiral motion up the spinal column as you travel all the way to the crown of your head.
Allow the exhalation to move in a smooth,
Straight line back down to your tailbone.
Continue to breathe in this way.
You may notice that your eyes move as your breath travels,
Particularly in the upward direction as you move your breath in a spiral around your spinal column,
Traveling all the way to the crown of your head.
As you breathe in this way,
Look for areas of your spine where the breath feels stuck.
Spend time with each part of your spinal column as you inhale,
Moving up your body.
Spend time in the base of the spine,
Noticing any resistance before you move on.
Spend time in your spine inside of the torso,
All the way into the chest as you move towards the crown of the head.
Look for any areas where there is stuck energy.
Use your breath to clear out those areas by circling around them with each inhalation.
As you exhale,
Allow your breath to slide down a clear,
Smooth channel of energy as it moves from the crown of your head all the way back to your tailbone.
Repeat the process in silence,
Excavating your own body,
Searching for areas of resistance inside of your spinal column.
The spinal column is the channel that moves energy from your brain all the way to every single part of your body.
If you have ever had an injury or an illness in an area of your body,
You may notice that that same area in your spinal column feels resistance.
Spend a little bit of time in these places,
Not breathing simply in and out,
But breathing in a circular fashion,
In a spiral-like motion as you move the breath up and down your body.
Likely,
Your spirals have been small,
Circling just around the spine.
I want you now to enlarge these spirals,
To feel as though they emanate out from the spinal column in a 360-degree direction,
Touching the inner surface of your skin.
As you breathe in this large and expanded way,
Feel the entire inside of your body begin to clear and open itself.
Notice how moving in this spiral way affects your mind.
Notice how your eyes desire to get involved.
Observe anything and everything that is inside of your experience right now as you continue to breathe in a spiral direction up the spine and in a smooth,
Straight line down.
Finish your next exhalation and let go of the spiral motion.
On the following inhale,
Feel the inhalation now move smoothly up the front of your body as it travels to the crown of your head in a straight line.
Feel your exhalation slide down the back of your body.
Continue to breathe in this way,
Feeling a cleared energy channel for which to move your breath up and down.
Inhale up the front of your body in a smooth,
Straight line.
Surrender your breath down the back of your body as you complete your exhale and rejoin with the beginning of your inhalation.
Let go of your breath.
Let go of the control of your breath.
Take a few moments right now to just be.
Notice how you feel from the inside out.
Today you are clear.
Today you are free.
Today you are open.
Today you are receptive.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Today you are clear.
Today you are free.
Today you are open.
Today you are receptive.
Today is all there is.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Just be.
Take as much time as you need here before blinking your eyes open and returning to your day.
Namaskar.
