Welcome to this meditation to start your day with confidence.
I'm Sara Zemekroce and I'll be your guide today.
I'm recording this meditation on a cloudy December day from my home office in Switzerland.
This is your moment to connect with your inner strength and trust and set a positive and empowering tone for the day ahead.
Let's meditate.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
Maybe you want to do this seated or lying down with your hands resting gently in your lap or at your sides.
And if it feels safe,
Gently close your eyes.
And then take a deep breath in through your nose.
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold it for a moment.
And now exhale slowly through your mouth.
Releasing any tension or self-doubt.
Take another deep breath in.
And this time imagine that you're breathing in strength and confidence.
Sit up straight if you're sitting.
Hold it.
And as you exhale,
Let go of hesitation or worry.
Just allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Notice how it feels as you begin this new day.
Starting at the top of your head,
We'll scan down through your body,
Softening any areas of tension.
So let's start with your forehead.
Relax your forehead.
Your brow.
And then all the tiny muscles around your eyes.
Unclench your jaw.
And let your shoulders drop away from your ears.
And now just feel your chest rise and fall.
Gently with your quiet breath.
Soften your belly.
And let your arms and hands rest heavily.
Really feel how heavy they get.
And now allow the relaxation to flow down your legs all the way to your toes.
Feel your body supported,
Steady.
And grounded.
And now imagine yourself standing in a field at sunrise with the first light of the day warming your skin.
The air is fresh and full of possibility.
This sunlit field represents your inner strength.
Open,
Expansive,
And full of potential.
As you stand here deeply grounded,
With your feet on the earth,
Feel a steady energy rising from the ground beneath you and filling your body with confidence.
With each breath,
This energy flows upwards from your feet,
From the ground,
From mama earth,
All the way to the top of your head.
Filling your body with confidence.
The earth's confidence.
And leaving no room for doubt or fear.
It feels strong,
Calm,
And unshakable.
As you stand there like an oak tree,
Strongly rooted,
Silently repeat the following affirmations after me.
I am confident in who I am.
I trust my abilities and my decisions.
I step into this day with strength and assurance.
My confidence grows with every breath I take.
Feel these affirmations settle into your being,
Becoming your truth for the day ahead.
And now,
Take one more deep breath,
Filling your body with a sense of power and readiness.
Feel the energy of confidence,
Maybe a small tickling in your fingers and toes.
Steady and uplifting as you prepare to step into your day.
And now,
Just bring your awareness back to your breath,
And let your body breathe for you,
With no effort whatsoever.
And then slowly start to bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Wiggle your fingers and toes gently.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes,
And carry this sense of confidence and strength with you,
As you move through your day.
