Good morning.
Thank you for letting me guide you into this new morning and day.
During this meditation practice,
We will be rising up to our feet.
For right now,
Let's start on our seat.
Inhale into the earth through your seat.
Lengthen the spine up.
Bring some ease to your shoulders by dropping your shoulders down towards the earth.
Rest your hands on your legs and gently draw your chin up.
Close your eyes.
Bring some focus to the flow of your breath.
Stay with the natural flow of the breath.
Getting more and more aware to this natural rhythm of the breath in and out.
Now gently start to expand on the breath,
Making the inhalation and exhalation longer.
With each long and passing breath,
Waking up the inner body.
Feeling that deep inhale and exhale in your lungs.
Feeling that deep inhale and exhale in your belly.
Feeling the deep in and out breath in your heart space.
Now allow the waves of the breath to open you up to your senses.
Breathing from the inner experience to the outer experience.
From the inner world to the outer world.
Gently open your eyes to your surroundings.
In a soft gaze.
Awaken to the sounds you are hearing through your ears.
And wake up to the touch of your hands on your legs.
Now take a deep breath in and exhale it out through the mouth.
Stay here right now feeling into the morning pulse.
This is a new day.
This day is like a gift.
We do not know what the gift is until we open it.
Welcome this day with an open mind and open heart.
Bring your left hand to the heart space and your right hand to the earth.
Through your right hand connect to the grounding force of the earth.
Through your left hand to your heart space connect into the beat of the heart.
Absorb into the vibration of the heart and the vibration of the earth.
The vibration breaking down any resistance to face this day.
Resistance of the mind,
Resistance coming from the heart.
Honor this moment of cleansing and releasing.
Wake up to this new day.
Wake up to the rhythm of life.
Look through your eyes with clear focus.
You have this new day to create new experiences.
Now slowly come to standing.
Standing on your feet connect into the earth.
Stand up tall towards the skies.
Raise both hands towards the sky and absorb into this moment.
Imagine the rays of the sun moving down from the crown of the head into your body.
The sunlight is infusing into every corner of your body.
Be in this light of the dawn,
Light of the day.
As the sunlight warms your body the light illuminates the heart and mind.
The light reveals the courage and grace to face the day.
Stay in this light focused and aware of your presence.
Finally bring your palms together in front of your heart.
Take a deep breath in and exhale it out through the mouth.
Open the eyes,
Open the mind and open the heart to many possibilities that lie ahead today.
Wake up to life with gratitude.
Thanking in advance for the opportunities that are about to come your way.
Trust in yourself to know that you have within you to flow through this day.
And whatever experiences it may bring.
Stay in this awakened self for a few more breaths between the earth and skies and all four directions around you.
With your palms in front of your heart take another inhale,
Exhale through the mouth and gently bow down towards your heart space drawing the chin in towards the heart.
Let what you do today serve you and all other beings.
Let what you do today uplift you and uplift all other beings.
