I invite you to find a comfortable seat with your feet grounded onto the floor.

Lift each toe up and place them down on the floor one by one,

Feeling grounded in this moment.

Let your hands relax into your lap,

Facing up or down,

Whichever feels most expansive to you in this moment.

Close down your eyes and bring your attention to your breath,

Moving in and out of your body.

Allow your attention to follow the air as it enters your nose,

Moves down your throat into your lungs and belly.

As you exhale,

Follow the breath as it moves up from the belly into the lungs and back through the throat to leave your body out of your nose.

Follow this a few more times to become attuned to your breath and the effortlessness with which this process occurs.

Inhaling deeply through the nose,

Exhaling through the nose.

Now that we've connected with the breath,

I'd like to move our attention to our heart center in the middle of the chest.

Imagine a golden light at the center of your heart,

A small pinprick at first,

Your purest essence of love,

Of self.

As you continue to breathe deeply in through the nose and out through the nose,

This light expands slowly throughout your body,

Spreading into your chest and your back,

Down your arms,

Into your shoulders,

Your torso,

Your legs and feet,

And moving up into your throat and head.

As your body fills up with this golden light,

Feel into its warmth,

Its beauty,

Its strength,

Its love.

When your body is filled up with this golden light,

Allow the light to overflow,

Moving outside of your physical vessel and into your aura,

The space beyond your body.

Allow this light to act as a layer of protection today from other people's unwanted energies,

From negative thoughts,

From anything that comes to mind in this moment that you don't want to bring forth or engage with during this day.

You can control your own energy and you can control the energy that you bring into your aura and your life.

Feel and breathe into this protective orb you have created for a moment.

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Sending the protective orb and yourself gratitude for taking this time for yourself today,

To set and focus your energy and set your day up to be amazing.

And gratitude for creating a space of safety and protection within.

Everything you require is already within you.

Continue to breathe into this golden orb surrounding you.

Feeling the energy in your body,

Feeling safe and protected.

Come back to this meditation anytime you require some space from outside energies to connect with yourself and your innate ability to surround yourself with love and light.

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes,

Coming back to the room and your consciousness.

In your own time you can gently flutter your eyes open slowly.

Enjoy this beautiful day and energy that you have created for yourself.
