My name is Samantha,
And I will be leading this meditation for Taurus season today.
Taurus is the second sign of the Zodiac,
An earth sign ruled by Venus.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Roll your shoulders down and back,
Close down your eyes,
Let your tongue fall from the roof of your mouth.
Begin to breathe deeply into your belly,
Feeling it expand on the inhale,
And deflate on the exhale.
As you settle into your own unique rhythm and relaxation,
Arriving in this present moment,
We will begin our visualization journey together.
You can always return your attention to your breath,
Feeling it move through your nostrils and down through your chest into your belly,
And then exiting back the same way it came,
Feeling all the parts of your body that your breath is moving.
You find yourself in a green,
Luscious forest.
You can feel the damp dirt beneath your bare feet.
Dappled sunshine shines through the leaves above you.
You turn in a circle,
Taking in your surroundings.
As you spy a path,
You are excited to see what lies beyond the forest.
Down this path,
So you take a step forward,
And another,
And another,
Making your way through the trees,
Feeling the leaves brush against your skin as you pass by them,
Relishing in the sun on your skin.
You emerge into a clearing,
A gorgeous grassy area.
You feel the change of scenery beneath your feet,
From damp earth to soft,
Malleable grass.
As you walk forward,
You spy a picnic set up before you.
It's made up of all your favorite things,
Your favorite foods.
Drink the most comfortable place to sit and rest yourself,
And a view unlike any you've seen before.
Relish in this moment as you eat,
Drink,
And observe the environment around you.
This moment is for you.
You are worthy of this,
This time to rest and indulge in your favorite things,
And relax.
Take a few moments to admire the beauty you see and appreciate before you,
Including yourself,
Your groundedness in this moment,
Your dedication to your self-connection and self-worth,
Your stability,
Kindness,
And the opportunities that exist before you as you lay back on the grass now,
Watching the sun as it starts to set and make its way to the horizon before you.
You feel a deep sense of self-worth and gratitude for this moment.
As this feeling washes over you,
Repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of rest and relaxation.
Gently deepen your breath as the sun sets before you,
Leaving you in the darkness to return to this present moment.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently dip your chin and slowly bring your eyes open to take in what's in front of you,
Before raising your head and stepping forth into your day,
Taking this feeling of worthiness and relaxation with you as you move through Taurus season.
