Hello everyone,
My name is Micah from Sacred Wolf Yoga and this is a yoga nidra with visualizations of the energetic and physical body.
Please go ahead and take the time to just set yourself up,
Maybe come laying down on your back on the floor,
Maybe with some blankets and some cushions for support,
Or you can even be laying on your couch,
Your bed,
Or in a place that you feel safe,
Comfortable,
And that you can remain with ease and stillness.
Go ahead and make your way there,
And if you have to hit pause,
Go ahead and hit pause,
And then when you're ready to resume,
Go ahead and hit play.
So now that you are settled into this place and in this space,
Just keep in mind that there is no way to practice yoga nidra incorrectly.
All you need to do is just rest,
Listen,
There is no work to be done.
Again,
Just rest and listen.
If you fall asleep,
Do not worry,
Then that deep rest is what you needed.
Just remember,
There is no way to do this practice wrong.
Settle in more,
Serenading to gravity,
And connecting with the floor a little bit more deeply.
Now bring about a feeling of inner relaxation in the entire body.
Concentrate on the body and become aware of the importance of complete stillness.
Help your awareness of the body from the top of the head to the tips of your toes.
And mentally repeat the mantra OM.
Complete stillness and complete awareness of the entire body again.
Continue your awareness of the whole body.
The whole body.
The whole body.
Now it's time to set your resolve,
Your intention,
Your sankalpa.
Let it be simple and in the present tense,
And let it be your heart's desire.
Once you have your resolve,
Your intention,
Repeat your resolve,
Your intention,
Your sankalpa silently to yourself three times.
Letting that go,
Listen to my voice and as I name a part of the body,
Let your awareness go there.
No work,
No concentration,
Just moving from part to part.

The whole body together,
Resting on the floor.
Become aware of your body connecting to the floor,
Connecting to earth.
And see your body lying perfectly still,
Resting.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
To your inhale in your exhale.
No need to change our breath,
Just noticing your breath.
Bring your awareness to your navel as your breath.
A gentle rise and fall of your navel as you inhale and exhale.
Now begin to count your breath from 54 to 1.
On each inhale and exhale.
54 navel rising.
54 navel falling.
53 navel rising.
53 navel falling.
52 navel rising.
52 navel falling.
And so on.
If you get lost,
Just return to 54 and start again.
Breathing and counting.
Breathing and breathing.
Letting that go,
Return to the awareness of the body on the floor.
Awareness to the body on the floor.
Total awareness to your body on the floor.
The whole body on the floor.
Now picture a golden cord from your navel.
The golden cord attached to the navel.
At the other end of the golden cord,
Your energetic body.
Try to see your energetic body from the physical body.
And try to see this physical body from the energetic body.
See it again and again.
And then see it again and again.
See the spinal cord.
See the spinal cord inside your backbone.
An energy tingle sensation in the spinal cord moving upward.
Watch your body as I watch your body from anywhere outside.
See your physical body from top to toe.
See your physical body from top to toe.
The different parts.
All parts of your body.
Head.
Trunk.
Neck.
Right arm.
Left arm.
Right leg and left leg.
The whole body.
The whole body.
Try to see your whole body as I see your whole body as if you are seeing it from outside.
Then from the physical body.
Look up at the end of the golden cord and see the energetic body without any distinction of eyes,
Nose,
Ears,
With simple outlines.
Energy beyond which the sky can be seen.
Try to see the energetic body.
Try to see the energetic body from this physical body.
Try to see the physical body from the energetic body.
As if you are seeing your physical body by being outside of it.
As if you are trying to see your head,
Your chest,
Your abdomen,
Hands,
Legs,
And everything.
The whole body.
Then from the physical body.
Look up at the end of the golden cord and see the energetic body without form.
An energetic body beyond what you can see or what the sky can see.
To see yourself in seated pose,
Practicing meditation on the third eye and between the eyebrows.
A yogi in meditation.
A Buddha in lotus pose.
A standing Christ.
A kneeling Mary.
An illuminated cross.
Go into your physical body.
Go into your physical body and find out the life force and become aware of life force.
Become aware of prana.
Prana the life force and experience it as heat.
Experience it as all around movement and see your own aura around your face.
Either from within the body or from outside the body.
Find your own aura.
Is it yellow?
Green?
Violet?
White?
Yellow?
Goldens?
Pinks?
Red?
Blue?
Goldens,
Pinks,
Reds?
Purple,
Brown,
Black or blue?
Now experience the sound of Aum.
Experience the chanting of Aum everywhere.
Experience the chanting of Aum everywhere.
Concentrate on the form and sound of Aum.
Concentrate on the sound and form of Aum.
Hear the chanting of Aum.
Develop the awareness that you are practicing Yoga Nidra.
Become aware that you are practicing Yoga Nidra.
Look within yourself and become aware of the existence of the prana in your body in the form of its heat and all around.
Again look within and become aware of the existence of consciousness through which you are practicing Yoga Nidra.
Again look within and become aware of the existence of your consciousness by which you are practicing Yoga Nidra.
Look within your body and become aware of the golden egg in the center of your brain and look within your body and become aware of the golden egg in the center of your brain.
A golden egg,
Very small,
Very small,
It's very small and that is the seat of the highest consciousness in humankind.
The golden egg that is very very small in size and is the seat of the supreme consciousness,
The highest consciousness,
The center of the consciousness.
The golden egg,
Not big but small and is the seat of the supreme consciousness.
Try to become your own witness.
Try to become your own witness.
Say now,
I am not this body,
I am not these senses,
I am not this mind,
I am not this prana,
I am not these thoughts,
I am not this awareness,
I am not this awareness,
I am not this body,
I am not heaviness,
I am not pain,
I am not cold,
I am not mind,
I am not karma,
This body,
The senses,
The mind,
The awareness,
The prana,
The feeling,
Experiences and everything that is physical,
Mental,
Psychic,
Unconscious,
I am not.
The immortal self I am.
Again and again go into your brain,
Find out that golden egg in you and try to see yourself in that.
And again and again try to go into your brain,
Look within into the golden egg and try to identify yourself with it.
Within that golden egg,
Try to find out that golden egg in you and try to see yourself like that and say again unto yourself,
Beyond the mind,
Body,
Senses,
The karma,
Nature and everything that is physical,
Mental,
Psychic,
Unconscious,
I am the form of this golden egg.
Become aware of your physical body and try to see your physical body by being outside of it.
Try to see your physical body as if you are seeing it from outside.
Go into your brain,
Go within in the center of your brain and try to concentrate and become aware of the bright golden egg,
The cosmic consciousness in you and try to locate,
Be in the center of yourself.
Become aware of it and say unto your mind,
I am that.
Now repeat your resolve three times,
Your sankalpa,
Your intention silently to yourself.
Bring your awareness again to your body lying on the floor,
Your whole body lying on the floor and the body connecting to the floor on earth.
Awareness of your body on the floor and in this place and in this space.
See your body on the floor as you bring awareness,
Bring awareness to the breath and awareness to the place in which you reside.
Bring the attention to the temperature of the room,
The sounds you may hear,
Awareness of this place and the space in your body in it.
Now bring your awareness to the breath,
Your inhale and your exhale,
Allowing your breath to deepen as you deepen your awareness of your body that's in this place,
This space and with full awareness of the body and the breath.
Allow yourself to return even more to this place and in this space.
Maybe you gently just begin to turn your head from side to side,
Your eyes can remain shut.
You may begin to wiggle your toes,
Your ankles,
Your fingers and your wrists as well.
Maybe take a gentle stretch overhead and then just pause there with the stretch overhead.
Then you can begin to bring your knees into your chest and give yourself a little massage,
Give yourself a little bit of a hug.
As we are still bringing ourselves out of the yoga nidra,
Maybe we just begin rolling side to side.
If things start to make sound,
That's okay,
We're waking up here.
And then pausing for a moment and just curling up on the right side of our body in a fetal position,
Just letting the head be supported by any of the blankets or props or even just the bicep.
Just completely relax there,
Still resting.
Still letting the fruits of this practice completely settle in.
We have our receiving side towards the sun,
The moon,
The stars.
And now with your eyes still closed,
You can just make your way up to a comfortable seated position for whatever that is now.
And this concludes the practice of yoga nidra.
