by Ryan Bean
Captain Ryan takes a flight with you on the SS Meditation to the Sun. On this flight, you will learn your Breath of Trust. Together we will explore and learn about the black holes, navigating our feelings and stepping in to confidence. In this mediation we will explore space and our inner willpower.
Transcript
Well,
Hello and welcome to your flight on the SS meditation.
My name is Captain Ryan and I will be taking you to the sun today.
Now it's been a little while since we've traveled and we've been making some improvements on the SS meditation.
We've been putting in some different reflectors to help with heat.
We've kind of trimmed up the wings and we've done some things with our aerodynamics to allow us to move faster.
However,
Today we're going to test the capabilities of the SS meditation to go into a black hole and come out the other side right next to the sun.
Luckily we have our navigator,
Lieutenant Stella.
She's waiting for us to board the SS meditation so she can guide us into the beautiful dark space.
The distance we're going to be traveling today is 93 million miles.
That's a long ways to go.
Even if we travel at 550 miles an hour,
That would still take us about 169,
000 hours to travel to the sun.
That's 19 years.
I don't think we have time for that.
So we're going to use the black hole to tear a small hole into space and take us right exactly where we need to go.
We're going to use some sling-shooting maneuvers around Mercury and Venus.
We're going to trust the process today knowing that it's working out for us.
That's exactly where we need to be.
Come on,
Let's get on the SS meditation and prepare for flight.
Welcome,
Welcome.
This is Captain Ryan.
I'm very happy you were able to join me today.
Make sure you buckle up and you put on your space helmet.
We're going to be traveling a long distance and we're going to be doing it via a black hole.
There could be a lot of instability.
There could be some uncertainty.
There could be some things that don't always go as according to plan,
But that's okay.
We have all the equipment that we need and we know that we're going to get there.
When we get to the sun,
Did you know that it's really,
Really hot?
Not just kind of hot,
It's very hot.
Before we take off,
We need to open and deploy our heat shields.
Starting our countdown,
I want you to begin to breathe with me.
Just breathing in through your nose and then taking a very long exhale.
10.
Breathe in and then release through your mouth.
9.
All the way into the body and releasing your breath.
8.
Continue to breathe,
Maybe even close your eyes.
As you exhale,
7.
Breathing in,
Are you buckled in?
Do you have your space helmet on?
6.
Starting to count all the way down to 5.
4.
All things look like they're all in place and everything looks good.
Everything looks great.
We're going to have such a good time.
Breathe in and release.
2.
I can feel the SS meditation beginning to shake.
1.
And we have blast off.
We're accelerating up into the earth,
To the stratosphere,
To the atmosphere.
We're beginning to aim the nose of the SS meditation towards Venus.
We have to use Venus to slingshot us into the black hole,
Which will take us on the other side of Mercury and closer to the Sun.
Are you ready?
Now,
I want to teach you something before we go into this black hole.
This is called the breath of trust.
This is all about trusting yourself,
Stepping into that feeling of being accomplished,
Stepping into that feeling of knowing that you can accomplish anything that you want to.
The breath of trust is really easy.
It's just three parts.
I want you to see if you can,
As you breathe in through your nose,
Maybe you say that words or the word I.
And as you release,
I want you to say the word believe.
And then as you get almost to the bottom,
Just push a little bit more out,
Say in me.
Let's try this together.
I believe in me.
Take a breath in.
I believe in me.
Let's do one more time all the way in.
I believe in me.
Wonderful job,
Guys.
We're going to use that breath as we go into the black hole.
Now,
We're starting to get into space.
We can see the International Space Station and lots of satellites flying around.
We can see the stars.
We can feel that weightlessness,
That calming,
That space where we are totally safe and totally weightless.
Doesn't that feel good?
Now,
As we begin to travel towards Venus,
I'm going to take my seatbelt and just tighten it just a little bit more.
I believe in me,
But I also believe in being safe.
I'm just going to tighten my seatbelt,
Aiming for Venus.
Do you see it?
Here we go.
I'm going to throttle up.
Lieutenant Stella,
Please punch in the coordinates so we can slingshot all the way around Venus right into the black hole.
Are you ready?
Good.
Here we go.
We're going to start our breath of trust as we begin to slingshot around Venus.
Take a breath in.
I believe in me.
Take a breath in through your nose.
I and as you release it,
Believe in me.
Keep doing this breath.
Here we go.
We're getting ready to enter the black hole.
And here we come out.
The other side.
In our rear view,
We can see Mercury,
But right in front of us is the blazing sun.
It feels warm,
But our heat shields are strong.
We are totally safe and we're totally connected.
The sun is very,
Very hot.
Did you know that if you got out of the SS meditation right now,
The gravity of the sun would make you feel like you're almost 4,
000 pounds.
It would pull you downward.
We don't want to go out.
It's also very,
Very hot.
Almost 10,
000 degrees.
So hot it would maybe even melt your spacesuit.
So we're going to stay inside the SS meditation where we are totally safe.
Where we're totally secure.
Now what we want to do is we want to get near the sun just enough to where we can collect some data.
We want to measure temperatures of the solar flares.
We want to see if there's any kind of magnetic activity and any kind of energies that maybe can help propel us back to Earth.
Are you ready?
Okay,
Here we go.
Now as I extend the arm,
You get to control it.
The arm for capturing energy is being extended.
I'd like for you to see if you can scoop up some of the sun.
We're going to save it for later.
We're going to put it inside of our tanks to help us get back to Earth.
Go ahead and scoop up as much as you like.
And once you have enough,
You can put it right inside of our tanks.
Awesome job.
Good job.
Our tanks are totally full.
Now the rest of this,
We'll take one more scoop and we're going to use that for data,
For analyzing,
And for science stuff.
Go ahead and put that in this jar here.
Now let's begin to close the hatches and put away our collection arm and head back to Earth.
Lieutenant Stella,
Punch in the coordinates for the black hole.
We're headed back home.
And as we take off,
Thrusting through the black hole,
You can work on your breath if you'd like.
But knowing that you have accomplished something amazing today,
You have traveled to the sun.
You are confident.
You are strong.
Trusting in yourself is the first process in getting something done.
You can do anything that you want to.
You just have to believe in yourself and anytime you don't feel like that strong or you feel like maybe your confidence is low,
You can always use the breath of trust.
I believe in me as we rip through the black hole coming out the other side,
Right around the side of Venus and on our trajectory with this slingshot right towards Earth.
Everything is working out according to plan.
Everything is working out wonderfully.
As we approach Earth,
We begin to enter the atmosphere and then the stratosphere and we need to find your house.
Where do you live?
Can you help us get there?
Do we need to turn left or right?
Should we drive over the ocean?
Or should we take a different way?
Ah,
I see.
Let's take this way right here.
Ah,
There's your house.
I see it.
I see it.
We're slowing down.
We're slowing down so we can land in your backyard.
Oh,
Look who's waiting for us.
Everyone is there.
They're so excited to hear about your journey to the sun.
Make sure you tell them about the breath of trust.
You make sure you tell them how wonderful they are and how they can do anything they want to do too.
All they have to do is trust in themselves.
Okay,
We're landing.
Thanks for coming today.
I'm so happy that you were able to make it to the SS Meditation and go to the sun with me.
We collected just enough energy to get us home and just enough energy for us to be able to analyze it and to collect some data about what our sun is doing and how healthy is our sun.
Thank you for joining me today on the SS Meditation.
I hope we get to fly together again very,
Very soon.
Thank you.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
