As we begin this practice,
Let's take a big cleansing.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Release through the mouth.
Start to welcome your body into this moment.
Sitting comfortably,
They're on the floor,
On a chair,
On the ankles,
On a block.
However you can sit comfortably.
Let the eyes gently close.
Start to feel both of your sit bones rooting down into the earth.
Imagine that there's roots growing out of each of your sit bones.
Every exhale,
The roots inch closer to the center of the earth.
Moving your awareness up the spine,
Feel the navel tuck in to support the low back.
Feel each vertebrae in the low back separating from each other.
Feel your arms rest heavy on your legs.
Drawing your shoulders down your back away from the ears.
Feeling the back of the neck elongate as the crown of your head lifts.
Feeling so rooted and secure through your sit bones and lifted and light from the crown of your head.
You are part of the earth and part of the cosmos.
You are one with everything around you.
Begin to notice a star descending from heaven.
Just watching the star as it inches down through the heavens.
And coming through the ceiling of the room that you are in.
And calming down to rest on the top of your head.
Feeling the warm pulsing sensation from the star from heaven resting on the crown of your head.
Watch as the light from this star begins to spread in all directions.
The light penetrating your skull,
Lighting up your third eye.
Feeling the space between the eyebrows pulsing in this light.
And the entire forehead pulsing in this light.
And the light is expanding even more into the skull with each breath slowly.
It's now lighting up the center of your skull,
The space between the inner ears.
And feeling your jaw relax and release,
Basking in this light from the star.
Moving down your throat,
Your throat pulsing into the back of the neck.
And into the collarbone,
Spreading across the shoulders.
Feeling the whole chest and heart center with this warm healing light.
And as the light enters across the collarbones,
It makes its way down your arms.
And this light traveling down both of your arms and coming into the palms of the hands.
As if you're holding little balls of light in each of your hands.
Feeling the center of the palms of your hands and each of your ten fingers pulsing in this healing light.
As the light sinks deeper down into the torso,
Feeling the belly release,
Any remaining tension.
The center of the abdomen,
The ribs,
The lungs release,
The low back,
The sacrum,
The low belly.
Just filling the whole torso with this light,
Feeling this light healing these organs in the belly.
Letting all the tension melt away.
And as that tension and any negativity and toxins are melting away from the belly,
From the heart,
From the throat,
From the head,
Anywhere that there's toxins in the body,
Watch as this light keeps melting that tension,
That negativity down the body.
Just watching as this light draws any negativities down the body.
Dripping out of the roots of your sit bones.
Releasing anything you don't need into Mother Earth.
Where it will be sent down to the core of the Earth,
Burning up in Mama Earth's love.
Just feeling anything you no longer need today.
Releasing away from your body,
Through the sit bones,
And into the center of the Earth.
The star from heaven acting like a cosmic shower,
Cleaning your soul.
And any dirt that comes off in this cosmic shower,
Is simply rinsed down the drain into the Earth.
And the body feeling lighter now,
Without these toxins to weigh you down.
Watch as the star at the crown of your head slowly begins to sink down into the skull.
And the star from heaven with all its healing,
Warmth and light,
Resting in the center of your skull.
Where it will stay,
Ready to heal whenever you may need.
And watch as your clean roots begin to coil back up.
Noticing how far your roots traveled.
Each root from each sit bone coiling back up to rest in the sit bones.
Where they can extend back into the Earth whenever they may need.
Letting you feel secure and supported.
Feeling supported and light.
As you carry with you this healing star from heaven and these nurturing roots.
Feeling supported and enlightened at all times.
Bringing awareness back to the breath.
Fluttering the eyes open to look at the tip of your nose.
And then opening the eyes up to the world that's around you.
You are one with all of it.
