Find yourself in a comfortable position laying down.
Take your time arriving.
Let your body shift until you find a place where you can fully relax.
Fidgeting as much as you need to until you find comfort.
And then when you're ready,
Release yourself into stillness.
Dedicate yourself to stay in this stillness for the remainder of practice,
Allowing the mind to open to new places that movement can inhibit.
Allow your eyelids to be heavy and closed if they aren't already.
Calling the shades on the windows of the body,
Turning the gaze inward.
Let the forehead soften as you feel any tension in the face melt away.
Feel the cheeks,
The jaw,
And the tongue all let go,
Surrendering into their natural position.
Let the eyes sink back and down as the forehead expands even more.
Let the brain rest and be cradled by the back of the skull.
Release the need to hold anything up.
Trust that you are supported.
Allow every cell of your body to be supported by the earth beneath you.
Trust that you are safe.
Feel the softness of your head and face expand down the neck and the shoulders.
Let the shoulders rest down and back.
Feel all the muscles in the neck and shoulders surrender to this call to rest.
Allow the sense of release to wrap around to your chest and heart center.
Breathing into the rhythm of your own heartbeat.
Let the beating of your heart travel down your arms,
The muscles in the arms surrendering as the beating travels into the palms of your hands.
Notice the pulsing in the palms of both hands and all ten fingers.
Feel the heartbeat expand down and across your chest,
Encompassing the lungs and the rib cage.
Let this pulse continue to travel down the torso and into the stomach.
Allow any tension in the stomach to soften.
Allow your pelvic floor to soften.
Allow your glutes to soften.
Let the sense travel down the legs,
Feeling all the muscles roll off of their bones.
Feeling the full weight of your legs.
Notice the pulsing sensation in the soles of your feet and each of your ten toes.
Notice the blood running through every inch of your body.
As you become aware of the entire body,
Notice any areas where pain is present.
Release the need to change the way you are feeling.
Practice acceptance.
Accept whatever feelings are present,
No matter how painful.
Cultivate a sense of curiosity to the pain.
Detaching yourself as best you can,
Being kind,
Gentle and patient with yourself.
Notice the breath moving gently in and out of your nose.
Without changing anything about the breath,
Simply notice the air the moment it hits each of your nostrils.
Notice the air travel through the nasal cavity and into the root of the nose at the space between your eyebrows.
Observe the sensations as the air hits your pineal gland,
Feeling the signal of release spread across your forehead.
Letting the sense sink down into the skull,
Into the brain and into the scalp.
Each breath you take,
Allow the air to travel into the area of your head,
Experiencing pain or discomfort.
Hear the pain call in your breath.
Fill in this healing life force energy.
Challenge any urge to run away from the pain you're experiencing.

Trust that feeling the pain or discomfort fully is all that is needed of you.
Feel the breath being magnetized to this area,
Fulfilling the request for help.
Feel the breath as a filter,
Drawing out any impurities and filling those spaces with peace and love.
Let this process occur as you surrender to and trust the natural intelligence of your breath and body.
Allow the pain to disperse more and more with each breath.
Feel the full weight of your body,

The full weight of your brain and allow yourself to rest.
