You're sitting on your favorite carpet. Today, you dream about floating up into the sky for a peaceful getaway. Once you twirl your hands around the carpet's gold tassels, you find yourself rising off the ground. In a matter of moments, you are far from Earth. The dream of peace is coming closer to you.

Peaceful dreams meditation.

Close your eyes.

From a seated position,

Press both feet into the ground.

Lengthen your spine.

Drop your shoulders.

Loosen your jaw.

Rest your palms on your lap.

Prepare for relaxation.

Allow the body to rest.

Welcome peace into your breath.

Inhale peace.

Exhale peace.

Inhale peace.

Exhale peace.

Inhale peace.

And exhale peace.

Allow peace in your breath to relax you.

Open the door to your mind.

See the word peace in your mind.

With your inhale and your exhale,

Allow the word peace to fill your mind.

Your mind is peaceful.

Your mind is relaxed.

Peace in your body.

Peace in your breath.

Peace in your mind.

You are seated on a carpet,

Covered with clouds and blue sky.

The carpet is plush and cozy.

Your body sinks into the carpet as you relax more and more deeply.

When you are on this carpet,

You dream of peace.

Besides clouds and blue sky,

There are four gold tassels on the carpet,

One on each corner.

It perfectly fits your body,

And you know when you sit here,

The world is okay,

And you are at peace.

One day,

You say to the carpet,

I wish that you could lift off and take me somewhere far away.

I would love to rest on a real cloud and slip into a dream of peace.

You wrap your hands around two tassels,

And instantly you feel the carpet move beneath your body.

Slowly and gently,

The carpet begins to lift off of the ground.

You are flying.

With much excitement and curiosity for where you are heading,

You allow the carpet to take you for a ride.

It is a wonderful feeling to float up into the sky,

Higher and higher,

Up and into the pillowy soft clouds.

You feel free and completely relaxed.

As you look down on the earth,

You notice many colors in all directions.

Your eyes take in the green trees that seem to wave up at you while the wind blows them gently back and forth.

You see patches of white,

Orange,

And yellow flowers winking in your direction.

You look at the blue water and watch the waves move back and forth in perfect rhythm.

Eventually,

The carpet comes to a stop,

And you are now facing several big,

White,

And puffy clouds.

You step off of the carpet and onto one of these clouds.

You settle into the softest and most comfortable cushion you have ever rested on.

It feels exactly as you have dreamed a cloud should feel,

Comfortable and relaxing.

Resting on the cloud,

You begin to let go of any uncertainties.

All troubles or challenging thoughts seem to vanish into thin air.

You leave them all far behind as you relax and settle into your much-needed rest on the peaceful cloud.

It is truly the best rest you've had in a very long time.

In this peaceful place,

You dream about something in your life that needs to fly.

You think of a relationship,

An experience,

Or a part of yourself that could use peace right now.

As your body sinks deeper into the cloud,

You feel yourself filling your dreams,

Relationship,

Experience,

And part of you with peace,

Love,

And joy.

You are feeling free and light as these energies settle into you and your dreams,

With dreams full of peace,

Love,

And joy.

You say these inspired words to yourself.

I am free.

I am light.

I am peaceful.

I am free.

I am light.

I am peaceful.

I am free.

I am light.

I am peaceful.

As your body eases into this blissful state,

You are ready to welcome more peace into your relationships,

Experiences,

And parts of you.

In your dreams,

You have everything you need to keep you peaceful and relaxed.

With a peaceful body,

A peaceful breath,

And a peaceful mind,

You sense it is time to return to Earth.

You step back onto the carpet and slowly float your way down,

Down,

Down.

The carpet lands on the ground.

And you stay here and lie down on your favorite carpet and rest.

All is well.
