My name is Ruben.
These words are for you in this tough life that we are living.
What do you want to do right now as you listen?
Have you got your headphones?
Shall we go for a walk?
Or would you prefer to sit down or lay down?
It's up to you.
Here you are in this moment.
It didn't happen by accident.
You've come here for a reason.
You've come here for your own well-being.
Consider this safe space with me right now.
Thank you.
Take a moment to thank yourself too for this safe space that you've created.
Let's get into this.
In this tough life,
I am coming to know more and more that I am the one person who knows exactly what I have been through.
I am coming to know more and more that I am the one person in my life who can always be there for myself if I choose to.
I am coming to know more and more that I have the capacity to empathize and validate my pain as I continue to develop a kinder relationship with myself.
I choose to acknowledge the me that is here right now.
This is me.
I am here for me.
I choose to gently acknowledge what this tough time is illuminating to me.
I choose to be more centered.
I recognize that I can forget this,
But I have the capacity to get through tough times.
I choose to do so again,
Right now,
In this moment.
I choose to gently acknowledge the little glimmers of meaningful connection whilst allowing my unhelpful thoughts to come and go.
I choose to gently acknowledge the little glimmers of meaningful connection whilst allowing my unwanted feelings to linger.
I am willing to hold these experiences lightly,
And in this energy I can still appreciate little moments of meaningful connection.
In my immediate surroundings,
All is well.
In my immediate surroundings,
I am safe.
I choose to gently remind myself that I am not alone.
There are other people going through tough times in this very moment.
And this is what unites us.
