Ask yourself what do I need to do to drop into this space within me.
Sometimes it's easy to do this but when we're a little more distracted than usual it can be more challenging.
What's the antidote to distraction?
Soft awareness.
Soft,
Kind awareness.
I am here for me.
I am here to soften.
May my day start with me.
My body,
Soft and softening.
My forehead,
Soft and softening.
My face,
Soft and softening.
My shoulders,
Soft and softening.
My body as a whole,
My legs as I absorb a wave of softness and my body is soft and softening.
My mind,
That space where my thoughts take place,
Can be soft and softening.
Take a moment to notice what you can see behind your closed eyes.
Any patterns,
Shapes,
Colors that you notice from behind the scope of your closed eyes.
Here you are,
The awareness behind your closed eyes.
Here you are,
The awareness of how your body is soft and softening.
How your body breathes at its own rate and rhythm.
And as you track this gentle movement,
You recharge.
You restore.
You become more grounded and centered.
It just takes gentle persistence.
Every time you notice distraction is a win,
Not a moment of failure.
It's an opportunity to gently come back with soft awareness.

Such as a special moment with a friend.

Pausing to acknowledge the abundance around you.

Acknowledging the struggle of a loved one and responding with kindness.
A micro moment of patience,
Acknowledging that those we love are just doing the best with their level of consciousness at any given time,
Just like you.
A micro moment of fun,
Deciding to take action and do something fun,
Just for a snippet in your day.
A micro moment of creativity or interest,
How could you take a baby step towards something of interest to you.
A micro moment of freedom,
Acknowledging the freedom of this practice right now.
I am here for me.
How can I cultivate a micro moment of freedom for me somewhere in my day?
A micro moment of friendliness,
Acknowledging the capacity you have to show friendliness.
How this could light up somebody's day.
Friendliness goes both ways.
