Toadhall our retreat venue is nestled in a peaceful hamlet, just a five-minute stroll from dramatic cliff tops and hidden coves, perfect settings for mindfulness and meditation. Guests can enjoy the steady presence of peace and quite, with access to private beaches for refreshing wild swims close by. The rooms have been finished to a high standard, each with it's own individual character and charm.

Food is a very important part of your retreat and we take care to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for. Breakfast will usually consist of yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, nuts, breads and eggs cooked to order, all served with unlimited tea and coffee. Lunch will feature a variety of salads, soup, cheeses and a delightful sweet treat of the day. The evening meal will offer a vegetarian dish, followed by a delicious dessert.

A transformative and peaceful retreat I was feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, anxious and unsure and was looking to get some clarity, perspective and rest. Outstanding Host and Retreat I was looking for a retreat in Scotland and in August and this one was just what I was looking for. This retreat delivered what it said and more. I felt the weight of my shoulders was lifted and the reset button reset. Angela was the perfect host and teacher. She nourished our mind, soul and body. The food was so good, we were surprised at every meal with more delicious treats. The place is magical, the wild swimming was just the ticket. I don’t have enough words to praise her. In fact, I will be looking forward to going back again next year and will recommend her to friends.

Wonderful Experience! I came on the retreat to add to my trip from Australia. I thought it would be a good chance to re-charge whilst away. I was also wanting to make changes in my life and was ready for a fresh start . I liked the sound of the retreat when I saw it. The timing and location were also perfect. I saw people in the advertisement Meditating on the beach and I was sold. On the retreat, I learned some mindfulness techniques that I will use for the rest of my life. It has given me the tools to move through my life more positively. This retreat was so beneficial to me. It has helped change my perspective and taught me ways to live a better life. The setting was amazing, just wow. The beach is private and very beautiful. A seal watched us from the sea each day whist we did ceremonies, workshops, and meditation. The food was 5-star quality and Angela catered to my gluten-free diet with no issues. Comfy bed and clean. I cannot fault Angela. She created a non-judgemental space for us to learn and heal. I highly recommend Angela’s retreats to everyone. Angela delivers wonderful teachings with care.
