How To Slow Down the Mind And Tap Into Intuition
by Raj Gorsia
Slowing down is the most important thing i've learnt, i call it the first gate. From a slowed down place, anything is possible. Meditation is a state of being, its being able to listen into your deeper wisdom beyond the thinking mind. The thinking mind is reactive, the intuitive wisdom is a million times more intelligent. Listen to this audio if you want to become a calm and composed person, who can create anything they want in life. Message me if you found this session useful, i really mean it

So,
How to slow down the mind and tap into intuition?
Why is this so important to me?
Number one,
This is present moment me,
Let's say.
A lot of people will tell me,
Raj,
You're very calm.
People will just meet me for a second and they'll say,
Whoa,
You're so calm.
And they'll feel some energy from me,
Right?
And then when people spend more time with me,
They slow down as well.
And people say like Raj,
You're like this guy who can slow people down.
It's your gift,
Some people will say to me.
And why do I think this is important to even mention?
Why is slowing down important?
Because I've had people before who've said,
Well,
If I slow down,
How will I get anything done?
Or I'll turn into a sloth who's lazy and doesn't do anything.
And I say,
Actually,
It's the opposite.
If you think of a F1 race driver,
They're driving around so fast.
They have to be in that level of presence to be one with that wheel.
You know,
A tiny,
Tiny bit of change in the wheel or a little bit of attention is lost and they lose the race or crash.
I don't know.
I've never driven an F1 car,
But that's what I assume.
So it's in boxes.
I have a friend who's a boxer and he's like,
Yeah,
I've got so many coaches who will show me how to be a stronger person.
But really,
I need to slow my mind down because then I'm more present.
I can move my body effectively.
I know when to strike.
I know when to not strike.
I'm not using my emotions.
I'm really there.
And in general,
In general,
Slowing down for the everyday modern human who's not a boxer or F1 driver.
What I found when I really helped someone with this and when I helped myself with this is I'm not being run by my mind.
I'm not being in the pattern of autopilot.
I'm not letting anger drive my next action.
I'm not letting emotions,
Sadness decide what I say next.
It's what they say in mindfulness as non-reactive.
I think they say that.
Something like that.
For example,
If I'm so slowed down and someone says to me,
Let's say someone makes a comment about me and says,
Raj,
What you're saying is not correct.
I think you're wrong.
Autopilot could kick in and try and defend myself and try and win them over and say,
No,
This is why I'm right.
Or get angry,
Lash out.
How many times have we lashed out as humans?
I've done it many times.
Defensive.
Or try and overpower someone.
That's if I'm running with autopilot.
If I'm slowed down,
I can hear the thinking that's going on.
I can hear the program which is saying,
Yeah,
They said this so I got to do this.
Quick,
Quick,
Quick,
Psychological mind.
Slowing down has helped me in so many ways.
Like I mentioned in the beginning,
If you didn't hear,
I was living in fight or flight mode.
It still comes up,
By the way.
That pattern of fight or flight is in my psychology.
Psychology in my body sometimes believe that there's a danger,
There's a threat.
So it would be like quick reaction to get out of that threat.
But what has really helped me with now slowing down is it's allowed me to almost let go of the habit of having to react or having to be angry or having to defend myself or any of that stuff.
And instead,
Listen to what I call intuition.
But you can call this whatever you want.
I don't know,
You guys tell me.
Put some other words in the chat.
Inner guidance,
Sometimes inner GPS,
Spirit.
What else?
Put some other words in your chat where you know that quiet inside guidance,
Whatever you want to call it.
If I slow down enough,
I can hear that thing,
Little voice.
There you go.
I love that little voice.
I can hear it.
It's calm.
It's like the ocean.
There's waves at the top.
But deeper below it's still.
Still,
It's not worried about the waves at the top.
You know,
The deep below the ocean is not going to get destroyed because there's waves at the top.
So I go,
I dive deep and I go to the ocean.
I focus on that and not the waves.
Ocean is always there.
The waves are just moving.
They come and then they crash.
Emotions,
Anger,
Fear,
Fight or flight.
That was me quite a lot.
It comes and it goes.
So that's what I want to kick off with.
Let me know what comes up for you.
Are you feeling a little slowed down already just by hearing me talk about this?
Sometimes I have that effect on people.
People sometimes say that.
They say,
Raj,
Since I've joined this call or when I'm coaching someone one to one,
Sometimes they'll say,
Yeah,
Like it was worth having this session just because I've slowed down.
So let me know what you're feeling in this moment.
What is moving through you as you hear me speak?
Because none of this is,
Everything I'm saying is not new,
Special,
Breakthrough,
Scientific knowledge that I'm trying to share.
I'm not a knowledge person.
You know,
Instead I'm trying to bring us back into the thing that's just there all the time.
The thing that we were born with that are us as humans innately have,
Which is our sensing ability.
You know,
You look at the,
I was going to say cavemen.
I don't know why that came up.
You know,
It's not like I know much about cavemen,
But let's just say our ancestors.
How the hell did they live their lives without all of these things that we have now?
How,
How did they go and work in the jungles and hunt and pick berries and,
And like connect to each other?
How,
How did they do that?
They were not reading books and looking for information.
How did they do that?
That's what I'm trying to bring us back towards.
You know,
Cutting edge people these days and healers and whatever else you might say might give you a magical technique that they have patented that they say is unique.
I'm trying to bring us back to the raw,
The raw,
The rawness that actually turned,
Actually turned something in space into this thing that we call human.
Because that's how it happened.
Actually,
Scientists will be on my side on that.
How did this,
This thing,
This flesh come to be?
It's made of the same thing as stars.
That's,
That's a fact.
That's not some spiritual talk.
You know,
It's not.
It's a fact.
This is made of stars.
It's real.
Just that alone slows me down actually.
Just knowing I'm made of a star.
Wow.
Made of the same thing as the planet.
You know,
Like body is actually just dirt turned into a shape with breath and energy moving through it and spirit inside.
But then what about the earth?
The earth is the same.
It's got that thing inside.
The earth is like a human body but a bigger size.
Really,
That's what it is.
It's a human body but a larger size.
How does that know how to live its life?
How does that know how to live its life?
How did the cavemen know how to live their lives?
The hunters,
How did they know?
How did the Mayans know how to make all of these amazing pyramids?
How did the Egyptians know?
You know,
There's all these theories.
How did the Egyptians make the pyramids?
How did they know?
How did they get this wisdom?
They didn't read a book.
There's something in the chat.
You guys tell me before I say something.
Where do you think all of this stuff comes from?
Like what is true intelligence?
Where did the cavemen and the Mayans and the Incas and the Yogis thousands of years ago,
How did they navigate through life?
That's been my discovery actually.
The modern day version.
I'm trying to bring all of that stuff back to the modern day.
Ah,
Someone says maybe there was one person with strong enough drive to push the project forward.
Yeah,
I think that's a really good way to put it actually because there probably was.
I'm not really going to go too much into naming names because I don't want to get things to get caught in like religion and stuff.
But let's just say that there's those type of people,
Right?
Those type of people just connected to the intuition,
The intelligence,
That innate wisdom that someone put in the chat.
They connected to it.
They connected to the same thing that runs through the stars and the earth and then they started sharing it.
And then more people started doing that,
Right?
I think that's the thing that we're missing in this day and age with all the distractions.
I don't want to sound like one of those people who can complain because it's not like we're victims.
I'm really just saying it from a place of there's this other way that we can live.
Not from intellect.
Intellect is analysis,
Thinking,
Defensive.
If this happens,
This happens.
Plan,
Plan,
Plan,
Plan,
Plan,
Plan,
Plan.
Planning so much that it becomes a prison.
Thinking so much it becomes a prison,
You know?
So when I say intuition,
When I say slowing down,
It's slowing down the mind,
The racing thoughts enough so there's this connection to presence.
We'll do a meditation in a moment to model this almost.
But slowing it down so much that we can connect to something that isn't our thinking.
Just knowing that it's there first,
Right?
And then feeling into it.
Sensing.
I think this is how the ancient people lived their lives.
They probably did the same as us.
They probably overthinking a lot and got caught by their egos and greed and whatever else,
Right?
It just happens.
It just happens as humans,
I think.
But I think they were also in tune with this other way.
You know,
The other hand of possibility,
Which I think is intuition.
So,
Yeah,
Someone hope you're,
You've already slowed down.
Okay,
Great.
I'm glad you've already slowed down.
You know,
I will go through a meditation with everyone now in a moment.
Ultimately,
Ultimately,
I want to show you how to live meditated,
Because then it's like,
Hey,
I don't have to rush and do a technique when I need it.
It's just you in the moment,
You can slow yourself down.
Like me,
Like I come into these sessions,
Not really having a plan of what to say.
I don't need a plan.
Instead,
I just become present.
I become here.
And then something comes out.
Meditation is a great habit to encourage that experience to come through,
Right?
It's kind of like doing your reps in the gym.
So then when you have to lift a heavy rock,
Oh,
I can lift this rock cool.
You know,
It's like that.
Here's the other thing I'll say before we go into meditation is a lot of people will message me saying,
It feels like there's two worlds I live in.
One is the way I see things when I meditate,
Or when I go and calm myself down or spiritual world.
And then the other is the other world where I have to go and do all this frantic stuff.
Can anyone relate to that?
Actually,
Put it put something in the chat if you can.
Seeing people press the heart button quite a lot when I just said that.
Can you relate to that?
Does it ever feel like there's two versions of you?
There's like,
Oh,
I get to calm down and I'm here and I'm present,
But then I turn into this monster,
You know,
Or whatever,
Maybe monster strong.
That's how I that's how I relate to it myself.
Yeah,
So your question,
How do you let go of thinking and planning instead of slowing down?
Okay,
So let's go into the meditation.
And hopefully that will give you an answer.
So close your eyes.
When you're ready.
Or you can keep them open.
I've practiced open eyed meditation quite a lot.
Some people are into it,
Some people are not.
I like to do both sometimes.
Closing your eyes allows you to close the senses and feeling.
But you can do that with your eyes open as well.
So just be aware.
Be aware of any sounds around you.
Even really gentle sounds,
Maybe far away.
Really look for them.
And then be aware of any thoughts that might be moving through your mind.
You are the one who can listen to your own thinking.
There's a temptation to get caught up in the thinking.
To solve or fix.
Or think about the best way to do something.
The pros and cons.
Maybe there's judgment.
Just watch all of that.
Like a TV show.
Imagine watching yourself from outside yourself.
As if you were a fly on the wall.
Just watching.
And as you watch.
Listen to your breathing.
Just notice how the belly moves.
There may be a temptation to control the breath.
There's no need for that.
The breath knows what it's doing.
Without your command.
So you can let go.
You can relax.
You can relax.
And just watch.
The breathing.
And the thinking.
And the feeling.
All waves in the ocean.
Dive deeper in the ocean.
Where it's still.
And slow.
And just be.
And allificed in the shark form.
So,
I'm gonna end the practice.
So really gently,
If your eyes were closed,
Open them.
Just stay here in the stillness,
With eyes open.
For a few more seconds.
Okay.
So perhaps that slowed you down.
You tell me.
It did slow you down.
There's different ways to slow down,
You know.
There's one which is be guided through a practice like that.
There's even more depth to this,
That's what I'll tell you.
If you can get your body to slow down and comply.
Your body is compliant.
That's one of the other things I like to mention.
I'm very much a body person.
Foods and movement and yoga.
If your body is compliant,
And it's not troubling you,
Then there can be a big reduction in tension as well.
Combined with other things like slowing down your mind,
Meditating.
There's a whole interconnected system for this.
Meditation is not the only thing.
Even though I just guided you to one,
I just want to tell you straight up,
Right?
It's just one part of it.
The other parts are,
Where is your life moving towards?
What is happening in your life?
Are you being yourself?
People have probably heard me talk about this.
Expressing yourself.
Confidence in speaking to people.
Career,
What's happening with that?
Maybe there's a creative project you want to work on.
All of that is part of slowing down.
Peace.
It's like creating your life as a peaceful life as a whole.
It starts with,
Can you be present?
Can you be here?
Can you have some ease?
In the chat my thoughts went all over the place.
Yeah,
That's very natural by the way.
Even if I've been meditating for many years now and I've gotten very intense into this,
Into all of the depth of it,
There's still times where my thoughts are all over the place.
What I've realized is I don't need to be addicted to that meaning anything.
If I'm really getting wound up about my thoughts being all over the place,
Then there's tension now.
Now there's tension.
Because I've made it now.
I've created it by being wound up by it.
It's like if a fly was buzzing around you.
When I was in India there's a lot of flies near my food.
So many,
Right?
I was protecting my plate.
No,
There's so many flies bothering me so much.
And then I finish my food but I'm still in the mode of flies are bothering me.
Flies are bothering me.
I don't even want them to land on me.
I don't even want them to be near me because they're gonna come and do something to me.
It's the mindset that was occurring.
If I just allow myself to be okay with it,
It's fine.
I'm getting wound up.
I'm making myself wound up.
You know?
I just let go.
Oh,
Flies.
They are quite annoying flies.
Yeah.
But yeah,
I'm in India.
I'm not trying to control the climate.
What am I really trying to do when I'm saying I'm annoyed with flies?
I'm trying to say,
Hey,
I wish it wasn't this way.
This doesn't make sense.
It's not intelligent.
You know?
I don't want it this way.
Well,
I have to go against the environment then.
I have to try and reshape the environment for that to happen.
No,
It's not gonna happen.
What's the point of me getting wound up?
It's a waste of my energy.
So,
Yeah,
Your thoughts are okay.
It's like you can't control all of this.
You can slow yourself down so your mind slows down.
But what happens is the way to do that is usually to let it go.
That's what I've realized.
It's like a Chinese finger trap sometimes.
Okay.
A burning anxiety in my belly.
Ah,
Yeah.
Challenging is to come back to reality.
Yeah,
I get that.
You know?
Life can be challenging if you've got certain things going on.
Of course.
And I don't know the details of that.
But yeah,
If you've got something that's challenging you,
Then I get it.
You know,
Our bodies and our mind are convinced that there is something really so wrong that we are under physical threat.
That's why all this stuff happened.
That's why I was living in fight or flight.
I thought I was under physical threat just by being around people.
Like just being around people made me sweat and get tense.
My body and my mind convinced me of that.
So when I started working on changing the way I see the world,
I realized,
Yeah,
There's some things that seem challenging and anxiety-peroking,
But there is a different way to see it.
What if you could be blissful through all of this stuff that you're going through?
As much as you can be,
Right?
It depends what you're going through,
By the way.
So not a blanket statement.
You might have to start practicing meditation while in traffic.
Just don't fall asleep at the wheel.
Because that could be challenging,
You know,
If you're driving and meditating.
I have,
Someone said,
I've been meditating a lot over a week and I've been on my own,
But then I went back to the outside world and finding it difficult to meditate.
How can you incorporate meditating in the outside world when people and feelings arise?
Ah,
Okay.
Here's the other part of this.
The other part of slowing down is that the heart sometimes feels like it's closed.
I don't know if anyone can relate to that.
If I said that and something came up in you,
Put a yes in the chat.
The heart can feel closed.
And you know what I realized?
This was actually one of the biggest things that happened to me or that I created was opening my heart.
I didn't actually,
And I say this every session nearly,
Just to make a point out of it.
I didn't know what a heart was for my whole life,
Like not exaggerating at all.
I read about it and I saw in movies and I was like,
Ah,
Cool,
These people I love,
This is so nice.
Yeah,
I felt a little warm inside,
But I didn't really understand what this thing called heart or love or compassion was.
Because I was in my own head.
Love does not exist as self.
It does not exist inside an individual human.
That's why I,
Hmm,
When I say this,
I'm going to be really precise.
That's why I don't really think that doing things like promoting self love is as important as love overall.
What I mean by that is love is an energy of connection from me to you,
Me to the world,
Me to the earth.
Like I mentioned earlier,
We're a piece of earth.
We're a piece of star,
We're made of stars.
So love is connecting to something beyond myself.
That's really what love is.
When I started experiencing in that way,
Like the self love thing just became,
It just started happening.
It was like I started accepting myself.
Because if I can accept others and I can accept myself,
Then that means there's no separation anymore.
I'm talking about,
Okay,
Depends what you mean by spiritual heart.
Yeah,
Probably that,
Let's say.
I think that's the other part of slowing down,
When we know that we are okay.
When we know that we are okay.
It's okay to be me.
I know it is okay to be me when I know that it's okay for that person to be like that.
When I don't need to defend myself based on what someone says.
That's what I experience as opening the heart.
I just don't need to defend.
It doesn't make sense.
And the thing is,
I'll still fall into this pattern with family members sometimes.
It's a pattern,
It's a habit.
It still happens.
But if I again catch myself,
What's going on here?
Oh,
I'm thinking that they're judging me.
I'm thinking that I have to do this because of what they felt,
Or I'm doing this guilt.
I feel guilt or shame.
If I slow myself down again,
Coming back to today,
Slowing down,
Then I can see they are human,
Trying their best.
I'm a human trying my best.
They are human with their psychology that they were brought up with that makes them think this stuff.
I am human with psychology.
But really,
Then I see that first and then I come back to they are human who is made of stars.
They are human who is temporary here,
Like me.
They are human who has a spirit beyond their psychology and their physical body,
Like me.
Wow,
This is so fascinating.
This is interesting now.
Wow.
And that's another part of slowing down,
You know,
Seeing humans for what they are.
And that means seeing myself as that way.
So that's maybe to answer your question,
What does self love mean?
And you know what,
The reason why I mention that is because I don't anymore think that self love is about me taking a hot bath or it's about me going and getting a massage.
That stuff's great.
I love to take a bath,
By the way.
I love to look after my body.
Yeah,
That's maybe that's the way some people see self love,
Right?
That makes sense.
I take care of myself.
Yeah,
For sure.
That's a part of self love.
Yeah,
Take care of me.
I need to feed myself.
Well,
I got to educate myself.
I got to read books.
This is all great for me.
I work on myself.
I'll challenge myself.
That's all self love.
But the deeper meaning maybe the way deeper meaning for me is I accept me.
I'm completely OK with who I am.
I'm OK even when I get things wrong sometimes.
I forgive myself.
That's self love.
That's another thing that can happen when we slow down.
We can slow down enough to see I'm not being that way with myself.
You know,
I have an example.
I have been weightlifting for a long time.
Well,
I stopped for a few years,
But I'll get to that.
Been weightlifting for a long time and any guys that are here today and girls as well,
Right?
If you're into like fitness or anything like that or body image,
I had been working out for the last 10 years,
Let's say,
Right?
I realized that I had been working out in a way of like punishing myself.
Hurting myself,
I said.
Had this massive insight.
I've been hurting myself.
What I mean by that is I've been saying you got to work out.
Especially when I was younger,
When I wasn't really comfortable with how my body looked.
I was like,
Hey,
Your body doesn't look good.
It's skinny,
It's ugly.
You got to work out because then you look OK,
You feel OK.
And like beyond all of those intentions was this judgment,
This darkness.
So it's like when I went into the workouts,
There was this dark vibe.
Going through the whole thing,
Right?
And I generally think this is what this is,
How most people are working out with this darkness of,
Oh,
I ate this thing,
So I got to work it off because I did bad.
You did bad.
You got to get punished.
Or it's like,
Hey,
Like this body is this is this way I got to there.
This is not nice.
Yeah,
You're ugly.
You got to do that.
You know,
Like I realized I was carrying that darkness around my workouts for a very long time.
I said to myself,
What if I can do these workouts in a loving way?
You know,
I talk about love all the time.
Like,
Why am I not doing my workouts like this?
What I mean by that is accepting that I am OK right now.
Even if your body doesn't look the best right now,
It's just OK.
It's OK.
There's nothing wrong.
Wrong doesn't mean anything.
You know.
Doing it from that place,
It's like,
OK,
Now I'm working on my body.
It's a sculpture.
Look at it like that now.
Instead of this punishment,
You know.
So that's the other part of self-love.
Is slowing down enough that you can see why are you doing these things?
In what frame are you doing it?
Any word that comes out of your mouth being so slowed down that you know,
Where is this coming from?
Whose voice is this?
Is this a voice of my parents?
Subconsciously somewhere inside me coming out of me.
This my mum or is my dad?
Is this that person that I was hanging around with when I was younger?
Is this is this because of this thing that happened when I was younger?
That's why I'm saying this.
Is this because of my friends that are pressuring me or telling me what's right and wrong?
Is this why I'm saying this?
Question everything.
So that's that's the power of slowing down,
And I know it might be a lot to take in in the hour that we've been here.
But really,
I'm just saying.
Being slow enough to see why you're doing things,
Where is it coming from?
For what purpose?
What's driving that?
What is it?
So that's what I've got for you.
Let me know what comes up in the chat.
Looking at it with different eyes,
That's it.
Looking at it with different eyes.
That's what I mean by tapping into intuition.
That I and I'm pointing here for some reason,
This this I,
The third I.
That I is the I that sees things differently.
Like you said,
A different perspective.
I looks it's like I say this sometimes the eye of.
Of life itself.
You know,
Really looking at it from that way,
The bigger picture.
The creativity inside you.
The one that can know what to do next.
The one that is strong and confident.
Innately.
The one that's got a warrior inside of them.
Can I see it through that eye?
Intuition has a lot of different definitions and that's only one of the words that I'll use to describe what I'm talking about.
Because words sometimes can be even limiting.
Words were created by our mind.
You know,
You could say.
Especially the English language.
I'm talking about that ever present power.
Calm,
Stillness.
We love.
All of that is intuition.
And we all have it.
You know,
There's a.
It's like.
People will say things like when I'm in the shower,
I'm really calm.
I'm really present.
I get ideas in the shower.
I don't know if you guys do.
Sometimes I get ideas in the bath or a shower.
And it's not like it's the shower that's doing it.
It's just because you're slowed down enough.
To listen.
So you don't need to have the shower to be able to be calm.
You don't need to have the massage to be calm.
Yeah,
They help.
Because like I mentioned before,
The physiology,
The body has to comply.
If the body is helping you become calmer.
Awesome.
Like a meditation.
Meditation is helping your body to become calmer.
So you can slow down and listen to the intuition.
So what I'm really trying to say is it's there for everyone.
It's not some place to get to.
It's not something that you become enlightened and you can understand.
It's there already.
It's just sometimes covered.
I've heard an example sometimes.
Someone said to me once.
They say sometimes we spend our lives polishing dog crap.
Polishing dog crap.
Which means like analyzing our thoughts and going into the psychology.
And saying we're this type of archetype.
Or this personality type.
Or this is what I am.
This is what I believe.
And it feels very nice.
It feels very convincing and fun to analyze all that.
Or maybe not fun.
Sometimes painful.
Feels very satisfying.
Oh I figured myself out.
Analyze myself enough to know why I did this.
I've done all of the stuff.
I get it.
But then there's not that calm sometimes when we have figured it out.
Because it's like polishing dog crap.
You know?
Like underneath the crap is a diamond.
Underneath is the diamond.
Slowing down lets you like see.
Oh look I can see the diamond.
Let me get that instead.
So let me know if you got anything from that guys.
I know there's a lot to take in and there's a lot of things I've said.
I'm not really saying this stuff for you to write notes or remember the information or the words.
But just say things to speak to your intuition.
To see what sparks insights.
You know insight really means like seeing from the inside right?
Insight.
So let me know what insights that you've had in the chat.
From being with me for this past hour.
Or questions.
Let me know if you have some questions and I'll be completely happy to answer anything about slowing down.
Because this is like the thing I'm most fascinated by.
I call it the first gate.
Call it the gate into everywhere.
The first gate that allows you to access everything.
You know there's all these books out.
Confidence and success and wealth and peace and chakras.
It's all great stuff.
Me personally,
This is just me,
I think the first part of this whole thing is being able to slow down.
Then you can do all of that stuff in a better way.
I call it doing beingly.
Doing from a beingly place.
Doing beingly.
You know I should like copyright that.
I don't think anyone said that before.
Doing beingly.
Maybe they have,
I don't know.
So questions,
Reflections,
Insights.
Anything you got from spending this time and attention that you've given to this session.
Put in the chat before we end.
And I will actually share a few more things before we end.
You know like,
It's like there's no generic formula for this.
But there are many things that have helped me.
One is meditating.
Also using my body.
Because here's the thing,
Like with meditation.
Meditation is actually the final position after you've slowed your body down and you've raised your energy.
That's traditionally what meditation is.
It's something that's more,
Well what I mean by that is it's more effective if you have,
Your body is complying with you.
If you're using your body effectively to comply.
So that might be doing some yoga poses before you meditate.
Some breath techniques also helps you to become more slow.
Then meditating,
Then the meditation is way more powerful.
From my experience anyway.
That's one suggestion.
Other suggestions are see what's really in your way.
Like the mind and the thoughts and beliefs.
There is,
I talk about psychology with a lot of respect.
You know,
Even though I'm trying to get people beyond their psychology.
You have to be able to see that the psychology is there,
Right,
To rise above it.
You know,
Like Carl Jung used to say,
If you make the unconscious conscious,
Then you can start becoming freer.
So like knowing that you're doing it,
Knowing what's happening.
That's also helped.
If I'm going to say some generic things.
Generally how you're treating your body,
Foods,
That makes a difference.
I'm not going to,
You know,
I'm very carefully saying that because people can sometimes get addicted to the health vibe.
Yes,
If I eat this kale,
Then I will become calm.
It doesn't quite work that way.
Yeah kale helps.
Broccoli helps.
Beans,
Whatever else.
It helps.
It does because we're living in the body.
But it's not the key.
It's not the key,
It's the support.
What else?
Just there's all sorts of things,
You know,
Like some people are really into energy work,
Ecstatic dancing and stuff like that,
You know.
That could be useful.
It just depends on the person.
And then also being creative,
Tapping into your creative energy.
Because then you're not using your logical mind so much.
You get to use your other side.
That's also been huge for me.
I write poetry sometimes.
I'll listen to music sometimes.
Oh look,
Someone just said that.
Oh cool.
There you go.
Specific music,
Right?
Like music that's been made as an instrument to slow us down.
There's some really like not listening to nonsense music.
Like I say,
I don't want junk coming into me.
I don't want any junk.
I'm like,
You know,
I said something in my Instagram story.
If actually anyone is on Instagram,
Find me there.
I'm Raj Gorsea.
I said on my story,
Sometimes I'm like Magneto from X-Men.
He wears that metal thing on his head.
Because he doesn't want all this stuff coming in.
Nonsense.
He doesn't want anyone to access his greatness.
All that nonsense outside.
So I've had to do a lot of work cleaning out nonsense.
And seeing what is affecting me.
How is it affecting me?
Who am I talking to?
Why am I talking to them?
How am I using my voice?
All that stuff.
So there's all sorts of pieces to this puzzle.
Right.
I've given you a few things.
Hopefully that's helped to help you slow down.
And like know that you're OK and then know where your life's moving towards.
What do I want to do with my life?
That's another exciting thing that brings people slowed down.
Knowing that you're like,
I was going to say on purpose.
But I'd rather say purposeful.
Know that you're spending your time purposefully.
In this life that is limited.
You know.
It's life that's not going to last forever.
It's true.
It's a fact.
So,
Yeah,
There's a few things I've got for you today for helping you slow down.
Tapping into intuition.
I'm aware that I didn't really go into too much depth of tapping into intuition.
Because you have to really know how to slow down a lot first.
Intuition is a result of listening when you're slowed down.
Listening and listening to the heart area.
That's where the spirit lives.
You know,
Like it's a sense.
A quiet sense.
So.
Lovely to see all the comments.
Yeah,
So you just feel better and energetic when you work out or do exercise.
Yeah,
Exactly.
It creates life force.
And that's something that I'm very big on.
It creates vitality.
That vital energy is really important.
Like doing some movement.
It moves things around literally.
Oh,
I don't see any other questions in the chat.
If anyone has any last minute ones,
Put it in the chat right now.
Yeah,
I don't think there's anything else.
So that's all for today guys.
Hope that was useful.
