Welcome to this guided meditation,
The Blooming Rose.
Sit or lie down,
Find a comfortable position for you today and I invite you to gently close your eyes and this will be a journey of softening,
Of opening,
Of slow gentle blooming to who you already are,
To what you already are.
Here you are simply remembering.
Allow a softness to gradually begin to creep its way through your body,
Not forcing yourself to soften,
Not forcing yourself to relax,
Simply allowing softness and relaxation to arise wherever it wants to,
As though your body has its own natural pathway of unwinding.
You just open to this now,
Allowing everything to soften and settle,
Feeling as though your mind were a muscle that you could relax a little,
The perfect amount for you right now.
Now easily and gently bringing your awareness to the center of your chest,
What we might call the heart space,
And you just allow your soft awareness to be here,
Not forcing anything,
Not doing anything.
Your awareness is simply here in your heart and then you allow whatever unfolds to be,
And there may be glimmers of feelings,
Sensations,
Maybe images,
And you just notice it all,
Just continuing to soften,
Softening into the awareness of it all,
As soft as a raindrop on a rose petal.
That's your awareness here.
Now also bringing your awareness to the back of the heart,
To the space between your shoulder blades,
And maybe this area isn't visited a lot in our awareness in this way,
But you just do the same thing with your soft awareness.
You just notice a glimmer,
A blooming,
Like the feeling of roses slowly opening or closing,
The feeling of nature settling into twilight,
This twilight state where we allow the inevitable arrival of something peaceful to descend.
Through the rhythms of your day,
The rhythms of your life,
This inevitable arrival,
The coming and going,
Always returning,
This blooming and softening within you,
Is just as inevitable as the arrival of twilight,
All through your awareness,
And anything that arises within you or is present with you right now,
You can just let it be,
And let any desire to force or remove or change just drain into the earth,
And just become aware of not resisting any discomfort,
No need to resist.
Instead,
Soften more,
Allowing it to be there,
Knowing you have the vastness,
The expansion,
In your soft aware state,
To simply hold it,
Gently,
So all you do now is let it be,
And the more you just let it be,
The fuel of the grip begins to drop,
Stories of regrets,
Grief,
Tension,
Pain.
With the softness of a rose,
You can let it drop.
By letting it all be there,
You can also let it fall,
Letting things come and go,
With nothing to do,
Because,
From this soft twilight state,
It's all already being done,
Like the rose naturally blooming,
Like twilight descending,
It's all happening beyond your grip,
Beyond force,
It's like an invisible awareness,
Like an invisible realm,
That you quiet down within,
And remember,
And receive the remembrance of it just always being there,
Nothing you need to really do,
Nothing to fix or force,
You just tend with softness,
To allowing your rose to bloom,
Allowing whatever is unfolding now,
Or stirring,
To simply do just that,
Feeling this essence within you,
As so soft and effortless,
As a rose,
Blooming,
So powerful,
Yet so soft at the same time,
That true you,
Opening,
Gently breathing,
Gently experiencing,
With nothing to do,
Except gently tend to this garden of your awareness,
To simply melt into these moments of remembering,
Of knowing beyond words,
This indescribable you,
This connection to truth,
I will let you dwell in this state for a few moments now,
Until you hear the sound of the bell
