Inhale.
.
.
Exhale.
.
.
Make sure you are safe to relax.
Welcome.
Begin by sitting or laying down somewhere quiet,
Somewhere you can relax completely.
Make yourself comfortable,
Adding or adjusting any pillows or blankets under your knees or your lower back so you can come to a place of feeling cozy and supported.
When you're ready,
Close down your eyes and place both of your hands over your heart,
One on top of the other and just take a moment to center in.
Acknowledge your presence,
Your aliveness,
Acknowledge your willingness to relax,
To meditate,
To give yourself the gift of coming home to yourself.
Let your hands relax back down to your lap or your legs.
Breathe into the belly,
Filling your lungs with rich oxygen,
Feeling your heart expand and exhale fully releasing all the air from your lungs.
Again inhale,
Expand,
Open up,
Exhale,
Release,
Let go.
Exhale,
Expand,
Exhale,
Release,
Let go.
One more time,
Inhaling,
Taking in as much oxygen as you possibly can,
Pausing at the top and then exhale fully,
Surrendering all effort as you come to a place of stillness.
You are worthy of love as you are.
You have always been worthy of love and you will always be worthy of love.
Love does not need to be earned,
Love is.
Love is your origin,
Your nature,
The sea in which you swim all day long and your eternal birthright.
You are allowed to love yourself as you are,
No matter how you are.
Love resists no thing.
Take a deep inhale in through your nose and let it out with a big sigh.
I invite you now to open up and be receptive to the warm,
Expansive,
All-encompassing feeling of love here and now.
Feel its goodness,
Its openness,
Its brightness.
Breathe this love into your heart and as you exhale radiate it out into the space surrounding you.
Now I invite you to softly recall a vision of yourself in childhood.
See yourself as a young child.
And now zoom your consciousness to this small and innocent version of you and surround yourself in love like a warm embrace.
Look your younger self in the eyes.
Acknowledge yourself and speak directly to yourself,
Repeating the words,
I can love you as you are.
You are worthy of love as you are.
You will always be worthy of love as you are.
Surround yourself with unconditional love and acceptance.
Let there be no judgment.
Let it be okay to be this version of yourself.
Call nothing wrong,
Just love.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Gently release this vision.
And now see yourself in your adolescence,
The you growing up and figuring out the world around you and envelop this version of you in pure and unconditional love.
Look into your own eyes and acknowledge that you're doing the best you can given what you know and understand.
Soothe yourself here.
Let your teenage self know that you love them as they are.
Speaking these words directly to yourself,
I can love you as you are.
Seeing all judgment,
Calling nothing wrong,
Letting it be okay to be how you are no matter how you are.
And once again speaking the words,
I love you as you are.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Release this vision and see yourself in your now moment.
Wrap yourself in the embrace of unconditional,
All-consuming,
All-pervasive love and acceptance.
Recognize yourself,
All that you are,
All that you feel.
You can love yourself in your imperfection,
In your learning,
In your anger,
Your sadness,
Your insecurity.
You can release all judgment and love yourself anyway.
Look into your own eyes and repeat after me,
I can love myself as I am.
I let myself love myself as I am.
I love myself as I am.
Breathe in softly,
Exhale slowly.
Consider all effort,
All tension,
All thought and relax completely.
Bring both palms to touch in prayer position at heart center.
Inhale and on your exhale softly bowing your head.
You are worthy of love.
You have always been worthy of love and you will always be worthy of love as you are.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
