And welcome to this purely being meditation.
Today we'll be relaxing the body and dissolving into spaciousness as a way to connect to your inner nature.
To begin,
Have a seat.
And before you make any adjustments,
Just notice how you're showing up naturally.
Notice your posture,
The way your body feels.
Are you relaxed and spacious?
Are you slightly contracted or wound?
Just notice where you're at without judging it,
Without calling it wrong.
Let it be okay as it is.
See if you can feel self-love and compassion for showing up here and tuning into you.
Now close down your eyes if you haven't already and let your hands come to rest on your lap,
Palms facing up.
Take a moment to ground down through the soles of your feet.
Feel your sit bones in contact with the chair or the floor.
Feel the contact between your hands and your lap.
Let your spine be long and straight as you relax your shoulders away from your ears.
Take a nice deep cleansing breath in,
Washing your inner body with fresh oxygen and exhale with a sigh,
Relaxing any tension as you do.
Just take a moment to notice the air temperature on your skin,
Noticing any areas of warmth or coolness,
Maybe noticing any sounds you can hear around you.
And let's take another deep cleansing breath in through the nose and exhale fully out your mouth with a sigh.
Relax your jaw,
Relax your forehead,
Relax your cheeks,
Relax your eyes,
Relax your ears,
Relax your scalp,
Relax the back of your head,
Relax your neck,
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your upper arms,
Relax your elbows,
Relax your lower arms,
Relax your wrists,
Relax your palms,
Relax your fingers,
The tips of your fingers,
Relax the back of your hands,
Relax your chest,
Relax your upper back,
Relax the sides of your body,
Relax your belly,
Relax your lower back,
Your sacrum,
Relax your pelvis,
Your hips,
Relax your thighs,
The backs of your thighs,
Relax your knees,
Relax your calves,
Relax your shins,
Relax your ankles,
Relax the tops of your feet,
Relax your toes,
The tips of your toes,
Relax the soles of your feet,
Feel your whole body relaxed as it comes to a state of complete ease,
Feel completely relaxed,
Relax your lungs,
Your nostrils,
Let your breath be natural and easy,
Relax your heart,
Relax your brain,
Relax your bones,
Relax your blood flow,
Relax your lymph,
Relax all the cells of your body and the space in between them,
Begin to feel yourself melting and dissolving into the space surrounding you,
Relax into the spaciousness surrounding your body,
Become the spaciousness,
Feeling open and sky-like,
Free in your being,
Keep dissolving,
Keep melting,
Completely relax into the spaciousness.

Breathe.

Notice the stillness of your being.

Notice the perfect silence resting just below the surface of your being.

Turn up into the spaciousness of your being.

Beautiful.
Now ever so slowly begin to deepen your breath,
Bringing gentle and loving movement into the front,
Sides and back of your body.

Begin to wiggle your fingers,
Easing into your body,
Easing into the day.
.
.
When you're ready take a big sigh and stretch both arms up into the air,
Bringing your palms to meet,
And then exhaling them to heart center,
Bowing your head in towards your chest.

Just take a moment here to thank yourself for your willingness to show up,
To breathe,
To relax,
To be still,
And in doing so to connect to your inner nature.
