Together we will explore how to infuse your everyday life with the most joyful inner child activities and self-compassion practices,

Cultivating emotional resilience and well-being for the long-term.

Let this meditation serve as a guide to continue your healing journey beyond our time together.

Taking a moment here to really acknowledge just how far you've come over the past week in this healing experience.

Begin by finding a comfortable and peaceful place to sit or lie down.

Close your eyes gently and take a moment to centre yourself in this present moment.

Breathing deeply,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth,

You can allow each breath you take to anchor you in the here and now.

Invite yourself to picture yourself in a tranquil space,

Visualising a sanctuary reflecting the sanctuary you've created.

Allow this space to represent your inner world where the wisdom of your inner child resides in peace and joy.

You can begin to feel the warmth and comfort of this space,

Knowing that it is always accessible to you.

Take a moment here to reflect on the journey you've experienced these past six days.

You may begin to recall the most joyful inner child activities that stood out to you the most.

Or perhaps you recall a cherished childhood hobby that came to mind,

Like embracing the creativity of art or dancing freely to the rhythm of your heart.

Know that these activities are not just moments in time,

They are portals to your inner child's world,

A world filled with wonder,

Playfulness and boundless joy.

Now,

You can invite yourself to consider how you can continue to incorporate these activities into your daily life.

Begin visualising yourself engaging in them with ease,

Making time for these activities in your routines.

Begin seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter,

Feeling the sense of freedom that they bring and noticing how the magic in these moments of play is essential for nurturing your inner child's spirit.

To support you to anchor in this ease,

I invite you to take a moment to set an intention and affirmation of your commitment to integrating these joyful activities into your daily routine,

Inviting yourself to find comfort in the first thought that comes to mind.

Invite yourself to find that comfort in the knowing that this intention is a promise to yourself and your inner child,

Almost like a pledge to embrace playfulness and creativity as important parts of your life and happiness.

Now let's explore self-compassion practices that will support your emotional resilience in the days to come.

You may begin by gently placing your hand on your heart,

Just as we did in a previous meditation,

Reciting the affirmation,

I am loved.

Placing the second hand on your stomach and reciting the affirmation,

I am safe.

Take a moment to breathe in deeply,

Breathing in the soothing touch of your hands once again as a now familiar gesture of love and safety.

In this moment,

You may feel compelled to offer yourself more words of kindness and reassurance,

Much like a loving parent would to a child.

Let these words flow from your heart to your inner child,

Enveloping them in a blanket of warmth and understanding.

Speak softly to yourself,

I am here for you,

Always.

I love and accept you unconditionally.

You are safe,

Cherished and deserving of joy.

I love you so,

So much.

As you speak these affirmations,

You can allow yourself to begin to feel the bond between your adult self and your inner child growing stronger than ever before.

Sensing the love and compassion flowing freely between you and creating a fullness of emotional resilience within your being.

Begin envisioning yourself going about your daily life carrying the wisdom and playfulness of your inner child with you.

Notice how these fun and joyful childlike practices show up in your interactions,

In your work and in your moments of being with yourself and how they bring such a vibrant sense of well-being.

You may begin to imagine yourself responding to challenges with resilience and self-compassion and how easy it can be for you to embrace each day as an opportunity for continued growth and healing.

And should you ever have moments where you feel afraid or disconnected from your inner child,

You can always return to this sacred space you have created for the two of you within your heart.

You can simply close your eyes,

Breathe deeply,

Placing your hand on your heart,

Repeating the affirmation,

I am loved.

Placing your other hand on your stomach,

Reciting the affirmation,

I am safe.

Bringing yourself back to this place where you can feel and trust in your connection to yourself and to your inner child knowing that you are safe and loved.

Let this moment right here,

Right now,
