Hello,

Welcome to the SS meditation.

I am your captain,

Captain Ryan.

Today we are gonna take a flight to Saturn.

Get in your most comfortable position whether you're going to lie down on this flight or if you're gonna sit.

Get buckled up as we're about to take flight.

As you settle into your seat or into your bed,

Take a giant breath in through your nose.

Maybe roll your shoulders up by your ears and I want you to blow it out through your mouth.

Breathe in through your nose and blow out your mouth.

This is your space helmet breath preparing you to take flight to Saturn.

One more time.

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.

I'm going to set our coordinates for the planet Saturn.

Can you feel the rocket starting to rumble?

The SS meditation is beginning to leave the ground and we are in flight.

All the houses in your neighborhood are starting to become small.

You can wave out the window if you want.

And we're zooming into space.

We're gonna pass several planets on the way.

Well there's our moon out to the left side.

Can you see it?

And there is an asteroid built.

Lots and lots of asteroids in the way.

I wonder how these got here.

Maybe we should try to fly above them or below them or around them.

What do you think?

What is the best way to fly through the asteroid belt?

Let's give that a try.

Now what I want you to do is take your hands and take your pointer finger and your thumb and bring them to touch.

Now if your eyes are closed that's okay.

You can open and peek and just cross them across from each other so they make little tiny hearts.

Now the best way for us to feel as though we are safe and that we are loved is to make these little teeny hearts.

Pinching the fingers together and saying the mantra,

I am love.

As we dodge one asteroid squeezing your fingers together say with me,

I am love.

One more time.

I am love.

Now you can take these tiny hearts and you can put them in your pocket or you can put them across your physical actual heart and remembering that you are safe and that you are loved.

We're going to the planet Saturn and it has a giant ring around the center.

So just as your arms are maybe wrapped around you,

The giant rings are wrapped around the center of Saturn.

Can you see Saturn beginning to approach?

Its giant rings going all the way around its middle.

It looks like a giant spinning lotus in the sky.

Its green aura coming off of each ring.

It feels peaceful.

It feels though there's a softness to it.

Almost as if it were clouds.

As we approach the planet I see a moon.

I didn't know that Saturn had moons but there it is.

That is the moon of Titan.

It looks it looks like there could actually be people living there.

We should visit that on another visit but right now let's go visit the rings of Saturn.

Oh look over there.

I see our friends the ring makers.

They care for this planet.

They are so compassionate,

So forgiving,

And loving.

They are constantly doing upkeep and maintenance on the rings.

They love their planet.

Do you love your planet?

The ring makers,

They drive something kind of like a Zamboni.

I know that's a funny word but it is like what is used at ice rink if you play hockey or you're an ice skater.

They keep the rings looking beautiful and strong.

Do you want to go ice skating across the rings of Saturn?

I do.

Let's put on our space helmets.

Putting on your space helmet,

Lock it in tight,

And take your space breath,

Your first space breath,

Breathing in through your nose,

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

Let's put on our space skates.

Locking them into place,

Let's open the door to the SS meditation and take our first steps on the rings of Saturn.

Now with each step I want you to hold your pointer finger and thumbs together,

Taking each skate across the ring.

Use the words,

I am love.

As we skate around the center of the heart of Saturn,

You can bring these words to the center of your heart.

I am love.

One more time.

I am love.

Now starting to skate back towards the SS meditation,

We need to unbuckle our skates and walk inside the door.

That was a really fun adventure on the rings of Saturn.

I am so grateful that the ringmakers kept up the rings for us so that we could skate today.

Let's take off our space helmets and buckle up.

The SS meditation only has enough gas for us to get back to Earth and maybe you will swing by your school.

As we pass through the galaxy and we're passing planets and moons and the asteroid belts,

Maybe your hands are still in those tiny hearts.

Feeling that energy of maybe love,

Compassion,

Knowing there is peace.

When you close your eyes there is compassion and this connectedness to others.

Maybe start to visualize or just see with your imagination the color of the sky,

The softness of the clouds as we re-enter the atmosphere of Earth.

Can you see the country that you live in?

Can you see your school?

We should go by there.

Let's do a quick zoom by your playground.

Zooming by the playground and waving at all the kids.

We're gonna go to your house now and land in your front yard.

The SS meditation slowly coming down safely,

Softly back on Earth.

Anytime you feel as though you might be a little sad or maybe you're feeling a little bit frightful,

You can always bring your fingers together making the little teeny hearts and know that wherever you go you can say the words,

I am loved.

And remember your trip to the rings of Saturn.

Thank you for joining me Captain Ryan on the SS meditation today.

I can't wait to take you on another adventure.

See you soon.

Bye.

Very nice meditation focusing on breathing and an easy to remember mantra. Thank you for sharing.

Have a beautiful day ...Namaste It would be very cool if you decide to do another meditation using the scientific reality that Saturns rings are formed by the moons colliding and breaking apart due to Saturns intense gravity ...and then the pieces collide back together and form new moons ... all directed by the spirit of the universe ...for us adults 😉
