Thank you for joining me today for this meditation on the power of intention.
Let's get settled,
Find a comfortable position and eliminate your distractions as much as possible by turning off your phone,
Closing windows and making sure you have a comfortable place to sit.
Let's begin by getting comfortable and gently closing our eyes.
Feel in for a few moments to connect to yourself,
Grounding down into your seat,
Feeling supported.
We'll start first with becoming aware of our breath.
Center in a deep inhale through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Another deep breath in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Begin to notice how your body feels when you bring in this fresh oxygen.
Using your breath to center in helps you to be present in this moment.
Honor yourself for taking this time for you today to connect in,
To find stillness.
One more big deep breath in and then let it go.
Know that in this meditation you may have distractions,
Physical sensations,
A thought or hear a noise.
You may need to move or shift and understand that this is all normal and part of the process and the experience of your meditation itself.
But you have the power to let these distractions go just as quickly as they have come into being.
Try not to focus or become permanently distracted.
Allow yourself to come back,
Re-center and re-focus.
Learning how to infuse the lessons that we encounter during meditations and bring them into our practice of living is one of the essential benefits that we take away from our meditation practice.
Learn to let it go.
Learn to let the moment pass without judgment or reaction.
One more deep breath in,
The biggest of your day and let it go.
As we begin settling deeper,
Let's take a moment to focus on setting an intention for this practice today.
Intentions have the power to influence and transform our life.
When we become fully focused on our intention and desire,
Bringing our focused awareness in,
We bring in transformative,
Powerful energy,
Helping our manifestations come to life.
Let's work on becoming clear when we set our intention.
Do you start your day with an aspiration,
A goal or an intention?
Do you have something that you're working towards?
If not,
Why not?
We all need something,
Something to strive for,
Aspire to,
To help us continue to grow and stretch.
So take a few moments now and ask yourself,
What is it that I desire?
What is it that I truly want?
What am I dreaming of?
Spending time in quiet,
Connecting to yourself,
To those feelings,
To who you are at the core center helps you to align and allows you to understand and listen to what it is that you desire.
When you're thinking of these things,
Understand that being clear helps to align.
Being vague will only keep you playing small and give the universe an unclear path.
It's time to get crystal clear on what it is that you want.
Details matter.
Clarity matters.
Take some time and go within,
Challenge yourself to dig deep,
To uncover what it is that you really desire.
Begin to ask yourself silently,
What do I want?
Don't force answers.
Just see what comes up.
Be here in this present moment,
Planting the seeds of these intentions.
