I'm happy to have you join me for this meditation,

Expanding Hope.

Hope,

The optimistic state of wishing or expecting something for the future.

And while hope is not considered to be an emotion,

When we tap into these feelings of hope,

We naturally expand positive emotions associated with this.

One way found to expand upon hope is through the practice of present moment gratitude.

Focusing on gratitude has a profound effect on our positive emotions.

Gratitude expands awareness,

Happiness,

And our sense of hopefulness.

So let's find a comfortable seat,

Gently closing your eyes.

Settle in.

Begin to find stillness.

Quieting the mind.

Bringing your awareness to the inhale and exhale of your breath.

Notice how the tension drifts away from your body as we slowly settle in.

Inhale.

Nice long exhale.

Letting the shoulders drop down,

Releasing any tension in the neck,

Shoulders,

And jaw.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Placing your hand over your heart,

We will introduce the powerful positive vibrational mantra.

My gratitude expands my hope.

My gratitude expands my hope.

Deep breath in.

Big exhale.

Hands over heart,

Continuing to repeat this positive affirmation mantra.

Finding more stillness.

Connecting to self.

Visualize a person,

A place,

A thing of what you are truly grateful for in this moment.

Sending love and attention in grateful heart,

Repeating this mantra.

Connecting to self.

Take some time here.

Slowly repeating the mantra.

Letting the shoulders drop down.

L Namaste.

Wonderful gratitude meditation. And I appreciate the nice long unguided section for quiet meditation.
