Welcome.
I'm so glad that you're making time to join me in this meditation.
Let's start with a few items that can assist in making for a better experience.
Turn off your cell phone.
Close any nearby windows to dampen outside noises and place a sign on your door to let those around you know that you are taking time for yourself.
You may desire to have a blanket or pillows and items of comfort nearby.
Settle into a comfortable position.
If you're able to be upright,
This is the recommended position to allow for that clear channel to receive any information today.
I invite you to close your eyes.
If this is not comfortable for you,
Hold a soft gaze downward to avoid distraction.
Know that during meditation,
It's common to encounter experiences,
Thoughts,
Sensations,
Physical discomforts.
This is all part of the meditation experience.
The key to maneuvering through these distractions is to be unattached,
Allowing them to come just as quickly to let them pass through,
Simply being an observer,
Nonreactive,
Nonresponsive.
So let's begin today with a few deep cleansing breaths.
We breathe in through the nose and exhale with an open mouth sigh.
Big deep slow breaths,
Clearing out tension,
Relaxing the neck and shoulders and allowing your jaw to release.
Settle in and let's begin our journey inward as we sink deeper into relaxation.
Feel your body begin to lighten as your muscles become relaxed and your breathing slows.
Just be here for a moment,
Allowing your awareness to be right here,
Right now in this centered moment.
You have nowhere else to be and nothing else to do.
Just be.
Stay here,
Paying attention to the way your breath feels as it flows in and out of your nostrils.
With each new breath,
We bring in clean and clear fuel for our lungs,
This powerful prana,
Life force energy to sustain us.
Pay attention to the way this air feels cool in the inhale and warm on the exhale.
Stay here in the moment,
Following this life energy force as it enters and exits your being.
Now let's move on to the focus for this meditation.
I am capable of creating my own healing.
I am capable of creating my own healing.
Things of fear,
Grief,
Loss and pain are profoundly personal and an individual experience and yet you can all share in this space from a place of knowing,
Understanding and empathizing.
Loss,
Fear,
Pain and grief can occur through many of our life events.
Loss of a loved one,
Loss of a role or identity,
Loss of feelings of safety and security and fear of losing our health.
As we meditate in this space,
We will focus on the power of our own energy and the capacity to feel as well as heal.
Place the hand over your belly and one over your heart and take another deep breath in.
Just be here for the moment,
Feeling the way your body is sitting.
Notice the chair and the ground under you that is here to serve you as your support.
It is your grounding center.
Feel its sturdiness and the strength.
Thank you earth for being the foundation so strong beneath my feet,
For being there as my support structure when all else feels unsteady.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center and feel it beating under your hand.
Feeling this heart,
This organ that serves you in every moment as your source for life and power and take a deep breath in and release it here.
Stay here and focus on the magnificence that is centered here and know that the power of the heart is so much stronger than the power of our mind.
Trying to tap into this space empowers you.
You hold the power in your hands for release,
Forgiveness,
Compassion,
Empathy,
Love and healing.
Thank you heart for being such an unconditional servant,
Remaining strong and steady,
Beating in every moment to propel me forward in life,
Even when the depths of my sadness and fear feel as if my heart may break.
For the next few moments,
We'll begin a silent meditation.
Breathing inward,
Silently begin repeating to yourself this focused intentional mantra.
My heart holds all of the healing power I need.

Repeat this silently to yourself and with each repetition visualize a soft warm green energy swirling in this heart center.
Green is the color associated with the heart chakra,
That energetic space where love,
Compassion,
Joy and peace reside.
Watch as it starts as a small speck of green light but with each repetition of your mantra it grows larger,
Stronger and brighter.
Spend some time here in this quiet space,
In stillness,
Being present.
Now let's rest in this busy space.

Gently bring your awareness back.
Notice how the light has become so big,
So incredibly bright and beyond expansive.
So you can no longer contain it within your heart center.
Watch as it begins to pour out and spread into the remainder of your body.
As it flows with this powerful heart centered energy spilling over into your belly,
Throughout your limbs,
Your chest,
Up your neck and into your head.
This warm,
Loving,
Powerful energy has taken up space in your entire being and the loving,
Healing energy is pulsing throughout.
Focus in on this powerful feeling for a moment,
Feeling supported,
Protected and held in this sacred,
Loving energy that your very own heart has created.
Know that whatever is coming up for you,
Whatever you're feeling or going through,
It's an important part of your individual healing.
It's a process.
Honor and acknowledge your feelings.
It will take time.
And remember to be gentle with yourself.
Try not to force logic and reasoning or timelines into your healing.
All of these things are not linear,
Nor are they logical.
This will only cause you frustration.
Just breathe.
Be here in the present moment and sit with it quietly whenever you need.
Once we give ourselves permission to sit with our grief and our fear and our pain and call it out of its dark shadows,
We're able to see it for what it is in the light.
We can draw from our healing energy from this heart space where love and peace reside and trust that as the time passes,
The darkness will lessen.
The love will heal and only the light will remain.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Another deep breath in holding at the top.
Let it go.
Know that at any chosen moment,
You have the ability to tap into your healing heart center and to draw upon this loving energy that lies within.
