Today we will practice using affirmations.

Using affirmations is a way to add power to our thoughts.

Every cell in our bodies responds to these thoughts that we produce.

And by combining vibrational qualities of sound,

By verbalizing these thoughts,

We add another level of depth to our attention.

Helping to plant the seeds of our intentions,

Desires,

And beliefs.

Where our attention goes,

Energy flows.

So let's take a few moments,

Bringing our attention to these powerful centering affirmations.

Listen as I read them and repeat them out loud.

I am worthy of love and respect.

I am supported in all that I do.

I am capable of achieving whatever I desire.

I set clear boundaries for myself.

I take care of my body and pay attention to my needs.

I honor my need for rest and rejuvenation.

I take time to be in nature and renew my spirit.

Just plain loved this, from the bowls to the delivery. One affirmation in the mix is not one I hear often but honestly MUST hear more often - that I respect and honor my body's need for rest. It's about 4:27 am right now and I'm only now getting ready to sleep. Laundry and hobbies kept me moving, and the one yawn I had at around midnight went unheeded. Given my multiple sleep disorders, I need to be paying more attention to such matters and, as the affirmation states, respect and honor this need for rest. I think I might have given this a five star rating solely for including that one affirmation! ☺️ In keeping with that, I will NOT continue putting the laundry away beyond what is already done. I am ready for bed otherwise, so I shall honor that need and see what sleep may come. (Probably with the assistance of one of the brainwave entrainment/binaural beat tracks, as that seems about the only way I CAN get to sleep these days.) Thank you so very much for sharing this practice with us here in the Insight Timer community. I see you and the light within you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻
