Welcome.
Gently close your eyes and breathe.
Let your body soften,
Let the sounds and the images of the world fade into the background.
Slow down and settle like mist in still air.
Breathing in permission,
Breathing out any resistance,
Becoming present.
Let your breath become your anchor,
Your passport on this field trip,
Your path to remembering that creativity already exists within you,
Whole and complete,
And it's only waiting for an invitation.
So,
Allow invitation to ride in on your next breath.
Imagine roots extending down from the base of your spine,
Burrowing down into the soft nourishing soil,
Giving you a feeling of support beneath you,
The earth holding you,
Safe,
Steady,
And just feel yourself dropping deeper into this grounded presence,
Connected,
Solid,
Secure,
And absolutely free to play with whatever comes up.
Keep breathing as you shift your awareness to your heart space,
And imagine there's a door in your heart,
An old,
Familiar one.
You may not have noticed it in some time,
It's been there all along.
It's marked by handprints from your younger self,
It's carved with symbols you once drew without caring or knowing why.
Hanging on the doorknob,
Attached to a piece of yarn,
Is a message scrawled on cardboard.
It's for you,
From you,
From long ago.
It's a message only you would understand.
You open the door,
A warm breeze moves across your face and brings with it the fragrance of wildflowers and rain,
And you know you've entered the garden of possibility.
It's a lush garden,
Beautiful,
Wild,
Cared for by something that knows you deeply.
The ground vibrates at a frequency that feels like love.
This is a place where really cool things get made,
So you begin to walk slowly through this ripe garden of creativity.
You notice what looks like musical instruments hanging from the trees,
They seem to be made of vines,
Hollow tree branches,
Palm fronds,
With a dash of starlight.
A wind moves over them,
Producing sounds that announce your homecoming.
So just breathe deeply and take all that in.
With each breath,
You become aware of a greater presence,
A collaborator in this garden,
Loving,
Kind,
Wise beyond measure,
Always with you,
Even when you forget.
Feel this presence within you,
Like a bright,
Spacious light,
Like the warm,
Knowing comfort of love that is unconditional.
Breathe into that,
Knowing you can trust whatever is to come,
Knowing there are no mistakes here.
This higher presence delights in your creativity and celebrates your imagination.
You're now walking a spiral path that leads to a higher elevation in the garden,
And deeper into the center of your being.
You hear laughter.
You feel laughter.
Your path now reveals a clearing,
And there you are,
As a child,
Doing that thing that brought so much joy and was effortless.
Your inner child is excited to have you back and ready to play.
You're now aware that all around are jars of paint,
Every color,
Brushes,
Pens,
Pencils,
Crayons,
Stencils,
Stick-on letters,
Glue,
And of course,
Glitter.
Here,
There's even an old typewriter,
Pieces of metal and wood,
Hammer and nails.
There are pianos,
Guitars,
Percussion instruments.
There are blank surfaces everywhere,
Sheets of paper,
White walls and fences.
There are electronic screens that convert your thoughts to text.
Consider taking two things that have never been put together and put them together.
Your inner child has wild and brilliant ideas.
Your higher presence is available in each breath.
So,
Explore the garden,
Create together,
Or just float in the unknowing.
What you create is not separate from the cosmos.
It is an echo of your reason for being.
Everything you create matters.
You were born to bring something into this world that only you can offer.
Even if you don't know what it is,
It lives within you,
Ready to make its debut according to divine timing.
Your creativity,
Your higher presence,
Your inner child are not separate from you.
They are you in your fullest,
Truest expression.
If you are ready,
You can start to bring your awareness back to your body.
While maintaining your creative buzz,
Notice your senses awakening.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Open your eyes.
Your garden of creativity is always accessible through your heart's door.
The world is hungry for the beauty only you can bring.
Trust the process.
Trust your creativity.
Trust yourself.

Finding Serenity.
If this inspired you,
I hope you'll join me when it goes live.
