Welcome dear one.
Coming Home to Yourself is part of a gentle seven-day series called Reclaim Your Worth.
Giving you a space to begin reconnecting with yourself,
One small step at a time.
You can come back to these meditations in your own way.
Whether that's moving through the series one by one.
Or simply choosing the one you need in any given moment.
Today,
We begin with coming home to yourself.
So take a moment now.
To settle into a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to feel supported.
Gently close your eyes if you feel safe to do so or soften your gaze.
And just begin by noticing your breath,
Not changing it,
Not forcing it,
Just noticing.
A gentle rise and fall.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
There's nowhere you need to go right now.
Nothing you need to fix.
Nothing you need to figure out.
Just this moment.
If your mind feels busy,
That's okay.
If your body feels restless,
That's okay too.
You don't need to be any different than you are.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness into your body.
Noticing where you're making contact with the surface beneath you.
Feeling the weight of your body being held.
Let yourself be supported.
And as you continue to breathe,
See if you can soften just a little.
Scan through your body.
Starting at the top of your head.
Softening your forehead.
Your eyes.
You too.
Let your shoulders drop.
Releasing any tension you might be holding there.
Allowing your arms to feel heavy,
Supported.
Softening through your chest.
Your stomach.
Letting your breath move naturally without control.
And if it feels okay.
You might place a hand gently over your heart.
Or somewhere on your body that feels comforting.
Just feeling that contact.
That connection.
So often we move through life feeling like we have to hold everything together.
Like we have to stay strong.
We have to keep going.
And right now,
You don't have to hold anything.
You can simply be.
Just for this moment,
Allow yourself to come home to yourself.
For this moment,
You don't need to be the version of you that needs to achieve,
Or needs to prove,
Or be enough.
Just you as you are.
And even if it feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable,
Just notice that you're here.
Breathing.
Present.
You might gently say to yourself in your own way.
I'm allowed to be here.
And again,
I'm allowed to be here.
Let those words land softly.
Without forcing them to feel true.
Just letting them be an invitation.
Now for the next few moments simply stay with your breath.
If your mind wanders.
Gently bring it back.
Again.
And again.
There's nothing you need to change nothing you need to become just this quiet returning to yourself.
Stay here for a few more breaths.
Noticing the rhythm of your breathing.
The steadiness beneath you.
And when you feel ready Begin to bring a little movement back into your body.
Gently wiggling your fingers.
Your toes.
Taking a slightly deeper breath.
And slowly when it feels right.
Opening your eyes.
Take a moment before you move on with your day.
Notice how you feel.
And remember,
You can come back to this place again and again.
Whenever you need.
If you'd like to continue,
You might explore the next meditation in the series,
Where we gently begin to open into taking up space.
But for now,
Just take a moment to stay with yourself.
Exactly as you are.
Namaste.
