Hello,
Pasha Lindy here.
Here's a short mindfulness practice designed to help us let go of thinking and come back to the present moment.
We'll be working with the breath.
So first,
Finding a comfortable sitting,
Standing or lying position,
Closing your eyes or leaving the eyes open with a soft gaze and taking a nice long deep breath.
We'll be paying attention to one breath at a time.
So noticing your breathing,
No need to change the breathing,
Just following it with a very light,
Spacious attention.
Do you notice the beginning and the end and the middle of each inhalation and exhalation?
Are there any parts at which your attention starts to drift away?
So noticing when we get distracted and simply coming back to attending to the movements of breathing,
One breath at a time.
And if you wish,
You can continue,
Perhaps attending to the breathing one breath at a time at other times during your day.
Thanks for taking time to reconnect.
