This meditation is a reclamation of your bond and a living dialogue between dimensions. When my beloved horse Tuxedo crossed over, I was shattered and didn't want to go on. Then something awakened. He sent me clear, undeniable signs that he had not left me. He had only changed form. He called me forward, asking for my courage to rise through heartbreak, so we could continue our bond in a new way. This sacred, soul-led practice was born from that journey. It's not just a message of remembrance, but an invitation into an ongoing relationship. You'll learn to re-sensitize to subtle signs and symbols, walk through familiar spaces in new energetic ways, and feel your beloved animal's presence with you still. We awaken energetic reciprocity so they may continue to be our teachers, healers and guides - just as they were in life. Whether your loss is recent or you've been carrying grief for years, this meditation offers a path back to love that never left.

This is a meditation to assist you in alchemizing your grief after the loss of your beloved animal companion.

Welcome.

I'm Pamela Robbins.

Make sure you will be undisturbed.

Lie down in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes and follow my voice.

The pain of losing an animal companion is unlike any other.

It is a bond that is formed in an instant,

Without thought.

We feel something stir deep inside us as if we have always known that we must be together.

And whether they find us or we find them,

Each reunion is a match made in heaven.

A story woven through lifetimes.

An eternal connection that defies logic.

Because it is a bond of the heart.

And each reunion has been meticulously coordinated.

Our timing and movements synced and aligned in finite detail until the very day,

The very moment we are united.

Perhaps we feel a shock in the heart or an undeniable knowing a recognition that needs no explanation because it is not scripted but fated.

And the heart moves us to do the unthinkable.

To fall in love in an instant.

Truly,

Madly,

And deeply.

And we are home.

Every moment they teach us,

Lead us,

Show us,

Guide us,

Heal us.

And reveal us to our true nature.

The essence of who we are when no one is watching.

And through their unconditional love,

Our guard slowly falls away.

Without even realizing it,

We become more open.

More tender.

And more ourselves.

And that vulnerability,

The way they made it feel safe to be undefended,

Is the quiet miracle of love we rarely recognize until they are gone.

And when they leave,

We find ourselves standing in that same vulnerability.

Suddenly aware of how exposed we are without their steady presence to protect us from the world.

And even ourselves.

So much of the pain comes from wondering where all that love should go now.

The love we once poured so completely into them.

But perhaps that is what they've wanted all along.

For that love to finally come home to us.

To let it fill the spaces they once tended.

So that we can become the very embodiment of the love they showed us was possible.

And when they go,

It isn't only their body we lose.

We lose the sacred sanctuary that existed between us.

The space where it was safe to love and to be loved exactly as we are.

Unconditionally.

And what we come to realize slowly and painfully is that the sanctuary was never truly outside of us.

They didn't take that sanctuary with them.

They left it in our care.

We are the sanctuary now.

The love we shared with them continues to live through us.

In our gentleness,

In our patience.

In the thoughtful way we move through the world.

That is how we honor them.

By becoming the living expression of the goodness and refuge they once gave us.

To be loved by an animal is the highest honor.

When one chooses to be near you,

To trust you,

To teach you how lovable you are and how deeply you can love,

It is a gift no human could ever replicate.

They are the perfect mirror.

Reflecting back not only our light,

But also the delicate,

Fragile pieces we hide from the world.

With them we learn that love can hold our whole truth.

Our joy and our collapse.

Our laughter and our breaking open.

They see it all and stay.

And they heal us.

With a warm body beside or on top of ours,

We feel the rising and the falling of their breath.

It immediately pulls us into their world.

Soothing us and taking the pain from our hearts so that we can soften again.

We wrap our arms around them and shower them with kisses and declarations of gratitude.

And through these interactions we reciprocate the energy of love.

We have an obligation to care for them even when we cannot care for ourselves.

They keep us moving forward with acts of devotion.

We show up for them.

And in doing so we continue to show up for ourselves regardless of what is happening in our daily lives.

Through their presence we fall in love with all the parts of ourselves,

Even the ones we are afraid to express.

In their eyes nothing about us needs to be fixed.

Every piece of who we are is allowed to exist and to be loved.

All this,

This vast wordless understanding is how we learn to communicate in our own sacred language.

Together we discovered how to read each other's thoughts,

To sense emotion before it was spoken,

To share humor and needs without a sound.

Because love is energy.

And when they leave it can feel as if life itself has stopped.

As if we cannot breathe without them and don't want to.

And yet we have to go on.

The love that once had a heartbeat in a body now feels like an ache too big to bear.

And it's true,

A part of us does go with them and the emptiness they leave behind can feel unbearable.

But over time with tenderness and willingness we begin to see that what they were showing us all along was how to love ourselves.

Every moment they spent with us was a living demonstration of that love.

Their devotion was the mirror through which we learned to see our own worth.

And now it becomes our sacred work to pick up the thread to direct that love inward and to become the keeper of what they awakened in us.

This isn't something that happens overnight.

It takes time,

Energy and courage to rebuild and reclaim love and to re-enter a relationship in a new way.

And choosing to reconnect is an act of bravery an alchemy of grief into love pain into transformation and loss into evolution.

This is not small work it is soul work.

These relationships are cosmic they are assignments of the heart written across lifetimes and meant to awaken us to love that is everlasting.

Love is energy and that kind of love never dies it just changes form.

The spirit doesn't vanish it shapeshifts,

It waits it guides and this meditation is here to guide you through that remembering a reclamation of the bond a living dialogue between dimensions a relationship with the unseen you already know how to hear them because you already loved them and now they are becoming something else in our lives companion in meditation a whisper in the trees a guardian in the spirit world an answer to a question a teacher of love without form you just need to learn their new language I have walked this path let me walk with you until you remember how to hear them again and together we will reenter memory and transform it into presence we meet our animal again not as they were but as they are now and in doing so we give our soul the chance to integrate the love and the loss and every time you call them in say their name out loud walk where you once walked together you offer something sacred a ritual and proof that love doesn't end it changes shape yes but it never leaves and what we are doing today is the beginning of a living ritual a bridge between the spirit world and the physical one we are shifting from grief into a continuing relationship through softness,

Invitation and continued presence this is not about summoning at will it is about creating the conditions for connection settling the mind softening the heart entering the quiet opening the space grief in its tenderness can make us close to protect ourselves from pain but our animals invite us to do the opposite to soften into love we invite them not from need but from welcome not from demand but from devotion this is a practice a living ritual the soul's language of reunion and a tool you can return to again and again one that gently transforms grief into love we are not reaching we are remembering and in the softness of our memories I come I invite you now to get just a little more comfortable in your space making any little adjustments so you can gently relax and start to let go taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out of your mouth letting your body know that it is safe to breathe and it is safe to rest letting your heart know that it is safe to breathe and it is safe to feel and it is safe to soften relaxing your feet your legs your hands and your arms releasing your lower back middle back and upper back relaxing your neck and your head and letting your eyelids get a little heavier now imagine that you are standing in front of a door not just any door but one that is alive with ancient energy it is made of deep rich mahogany it is thick and time worn the wood is dark and luminous it is like it has weathered centuries of the elements the wind,

The rain and the sun and you step forward and that is when you notice that the door is covered in carvings as your eyes adjust the shapes begin to take form they are animals,

But not just any animals they are all the animals you have ever loved ever known or ever felt connected to a wave of love washes over your whole body as you take it all in take a moment now let your eyes wander slowly over the carvings and notice who is here a beloved companion from childhood an animal you crossed paths with only once but never forgot or the soulmate who walked beside you through years of joy and sorrow holding your heart to it all the story of your life is etched into this door told through the presence of those beings who loved you without condition they are all here guiding you,

Protecting you reminding you that your bond and your love are eternal and then your gaze stops one carving looks newer than the rest fresh as if recently added you realize this is the animal that you miss the most right now the one you have come to see the one your heart is breaking for the one it aches to feel close to again and then your gaze shifts you find yourself looking once more at the door its handle now glowing softly in the light it is ornate and gold and shaped like a feather curved perfectly and glistening beckoning you to come closer you take a deep breath placing your hand gently on the feather shaped handle and you pause asking yourself am I ready to open the door between worlds,

The seen and the unseen and the moment your heart whispers yes it summons a quiet courage from the depths of your being and with that the door begins to unlock you feel it shift beneath your hand and slowly and softly you begin to open it a gentle mist swirls in front of you quiet and welcoming you step into it and everything becomes still this is the threshold the space between worlds and here without words you begin to understand not through thought but through feeling not through force but by the soft imprint of knowing and like a breeze that ripples through the leaves of the trees to touch you from beyond the teaching comes you don't need to grasp it,

Just open to it let it move through you let it settle into yourselves this is sacred instruction a remembrance of how to build a bridge between worlds not just within this meditation but in all moments across time allow yourself to arrive at a remembered place where you used to spend time with your animal a place where you felt safe,

Peaceful happy and full of love together somewhere you could return that holds the possibility of tradition and a way to honor them maybe it's a trail a favorite spot in that room a sun-dabbled patch of grass a favorite stretch of beach and gently allow yourself to be there give your heart permission to open to the idea of being with your animal again not in form but in presence breathe into that memory and let it open a doorway to something more notice the light the temperature of the air the sounds any sensations in your body and let yourself feel what it's like to be here in the heart of this place as a shimmer of golden light begins to appear and at first the light is so soft like the first ray of sunlight coming through the early morning mist and then slowly it grows a little brighter a little stronger as if responding to the softness of your presence a familiar warmth washes over you and you soften just a little bit more and now you take a deep breath in and a full breath out letting your body know that it is safe safe to breathe safe to believe safe to receive and safe to reconnect the more quiet our minds and hearts become the more ease we can invite into this connection take another breath in and release a shimmer of the golden light expands all around you you are illuminated the whole area is illuminated and you open your arms wide embracing all of the light that you are surrounded by it is such a beautiful feeling and you can feel a soft familiar presence around you and you can now invite your animal to join you arrive in the way that they most loved to be with you walking beside you curled in your lap or galloping joyfully toward you whatever you shared with them you can feel it again now and you ask your animal what is it that you would like to do you might walk with them or sit together or lie quietly side by side let the moment be simple let the feeling be enough remember what it felt like to pet their fur or a special detail of a pattern or marking that you loved to look at remember inhaling their scent or what it felt like to kiss or touch their nose to call their name and their ears would move how their head would tilt when you asked if they wanted something how excited they would get when you mentioned doing their favorite thing remembering something funny about their personality or a favorite food remembering what it felt like to just bury your face into their fur and then remember how they listened to all of your stories perhaps there is a story you want to share with them now or you can tell them that you miss them tell them that you love them tell them that you don't know how you are going to live without them but that you are here trying to stay connected connected to the millions of moments of happiness that you strung together over your time in each other's lives and not focus on the last sad moments of when you had to let them go you feel they are at peace and this brings you peace too this is their offering to you today to let you know they are ok and that you can be ok too and by showing up so bravely you can build on this peace finding your way to believing that it is true and in its truth you are both free and in that freedom you both can live in the energy of love if you feel emotion rise,

Let it come tears,

Smiles,

Stillness it is all welcome let your animals energy surround you let them remind you of the love that never ends this is your ritual you can return to this place again and again not to hold on to invite to feel the connection continue and to honor the courage of your heart and the commitment that it takes to choose to let their love heal you in this new relationship you might begin to notice signs after your visit a feather,

A breeze a butterfly or birdsong or maybe you feel them beside you or in your heart connect the dots believe and trust in your interpretations this is how the relationship continues through courage,

Trust and belief in what you see,

Feel and know let your hands come to your heart and whisper their name softly you can say I love you thank you for loving me and you can come back to this space whenever you need your bond is real your love is alive and you are safe take a breath in and let it go with love begin to bring awareness back to the space around you and feel the surface beneath you notice the temperature of the air on your skin and let the sounds of the room gently return to your awareness wiggle your fingers and your toes and take a stretch and gently open your eyes you have a way to connect with your animal and waking life any moment with a breath and vision of the glowing,

Growing light you can invite them to join you wherever you are and simply be with them allow the connection to arise without expectation and with time,

With love and with continuity a new relationship will form a new language will come through and the signs and the signals will appear and they will become the two-way street your heart has been seeking love never dies it only changes form
