When you need a minute to slow down,
This meditation will remind you that everything is okay.
You can have a seat or lie down.
Close your eyes,
Putting one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart.
Taking a nice deep inhale through your nose,
Filling your chest up with your breath and exhale letting it all go.
Taking a nice deep inhale through your nose,
Filling your belly up with air and exhale let it all go.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And as you hold yourself here like this,
Just tune in a little bit more,
A little bit more.
Slowing down,
Feel the beating of your heart underneath your hand.
Feel the rising and the falling of your chest with your breath.
The rising and the falling of your belly as it fills up with air.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And you can say to yourself,
In this moment,
Everything is okay.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In this moment,
I am okay.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In this moment,
Everything is okay.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In this moment,
I am okay.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And take another nice deep inhale through your nose and a big exhale out of your mouth,
Pressing your hands into your body,
Letting your body know that you are present,
That you are safe,
You are listening.
When you're ready,
You can blink open your eyes and know that you are safe,
You are supported,
You are loved,
You are powerful,
And you are not alone.
