When we face uncertainty or fear,
We can find ourselves not being grounded.
We are unsettled and shaken.
We feel unsafe.
It is when we're feeling this way that we can go within to self-soothe.
Being our own true source of comfort and safety is healthy and sustainable and healing.
It is from this place we can be available to be present for ourselves first and then others in the most loving way possible from our one and only precious heart.
So getting as comfortable as you can with your feet on the ground,
Sitting with ease in your body,
Dropping your shoulders down and releasing the weight of the world off of them.
Simply seeing your belly with an audible sigh of breath.
And as you sit,
You can keep your spine elongated and your chin slightly bowed to acknowledge your heart and gently closing your eyes.
Noticing your breath.
Are you breathing?
You can store our energy,
Anxiety and stress in our belly.
And by sending breath down into that space,
We can release that energy and release the dis-ease and tension that we are holding there.
So take a nice deep inhale,
Filling up your belly and your lungs and release the breath with an audible sigh out of your mouth.
Take three more breaths like this on your own.
Accessing the wisdom within your body and letting your body know that you are fully present and that it is safe to breathe.
Taking stillness to become grounded as all of this uncertainty has shaken us from our center.
Open your feet as energetic tree roots growing down into the earth through the dirt,
The clay and the rock.
Slapping into underground water,
Allowing your roots to merge with the water,
Soaking in the wisdom of Mother Earth and sending your roots down deeper into the layers of crystal,
Soaking in the minerals,
Going deeper down into the core of the earth,
Tapping into your foundation.
From this foundation,
You are solid.
You know yourself.
You can sense and feel your heart as it is the same vibration of the Earth Mother's heart.
Soaking all of that nurturing the earth sends to us,
Allowing it to enter your body through your feet and filling your body up,
Up your legs,
Into your pelvis,
Your belly,
Up into your chest,
Your heart,
Your throat,
Your head and out the top of your head into the universe.
Imagining your body as the trunk of a tree with a line of energy now connected from deep below,
Running up,
Up,
Up through you and connecting with the universe,
The sun,
The moon,
The stars and the planets and then from the universe,
Running down,
Down,
Down through you,
Back into the earth.
You are grounded and connected.
You can place your left hand over your heart and your right hand over your left hand in a gesture of love,
Letting your heart,
Your mind,
Your body and your soul know that right here,
Right now,
You are safe.
Seeing your chest rising and falling beneath your hands,
Noticing your heartbeat.
How is it beating,
Fast or slow,
With tension or softness?
Is there heaviness or lightness?
Taking a moment to connect with your heart,
Letting your heart know that you are here and it is safe to soften.
My precious,
Precious heart,
I am here with you.
I feel you.
I am listening to you now.
What is it that you need me to know?
And simply being with whatever comes into your consciousness without any judgment,
This is the voice of your one and only precious heart.
And thanking our hearts now for showing us.
What it is we need to know.
We can begin to work with this connected energy and the flow of receiving and giving from our hearts to the hearts of others.
Remembering that we must give to ourselves first and those around us receive the overflow.

This is for our planet,
The land,
The air,
Water,
