Welcome to this meditation practice.
This meditation practice is based upon the part series of the boy,
The mole,
The fox and the horse.
This series consists of different meditation practices based upon the book and the quotes written by Charlie Macquarie.
And today we are going to focus on illusion.
The quotes in here are about perspective and life and how we see things from different views,
Different eyes and different souls.
I would like to welcome you to either lay down,
Sit seated or maybe on a chair with your feet grounded.
As we begin this practice,
Closing off the eyes when you are ready or maybe finding the focal point and just looking inwards,
Noticing how you are feeling right now.
Noticing how the body feels.
Noticing how you are feeling emotionally,
Mentally.
And as you be,
Just pausing,
Breathing,
Being grateful for where you are and taking this time to give back to both your mind,
Your body and your soul.
Invite you to inhale deeply.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling deeply here.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling through the nose.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling through the nose.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Continuing with this deep inhales and exhales.
As I read you a piece of this book.
The greatest illusion,
Said the mole,
Is that life should be perfect.
The greatest illusion,
Said the mole,
Is that life should be perfect.
Just pausing here.
And noticing what those words mean to you,
Connecting with the book,
Feel it into how this makes you feel.
Accepting that life isn't always perfect.
Letting go of those things we can't control.
Accepting,
Feeling,
Being present with our breath and this moment right now.
Inhaling deeply.
And exhaling completely.
Is it the moon?
Asked the boy.
It's a teacup stain,
Said the mole.
And where there's tea,
There's cake.
Is it the moon?
Asked the boy.
It's a teacup stain,
Said the mole.
And where there's tea,
There's cake.
We all see life differently.
And this is a great example of that.
We're all going through our own battles.
We're all looking at life through a different looking glass.
Know that you are exactly where you need to be right now.
You are enough and there's always something to be grateful for.
There's always something to be curious about.
And we must accept each other's views.
However,
We see things accepting and welcoming others opinions.
So I invite you to join me in an affirmation and deep breathing exercise.
Inhaling curiosity.
Exhaling curiosity.
Inhaling acceptance.
Exhaling that acceptance with others.
Inhaling acceptance.
Exhaling that acceptance for yourself.
Just inhaling deeply now.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling completely.
Just taking a moment to be.
Just pausing here.
Being present with your breath.
Being present within this moment.
Whenever you're ready,
Just slowly bringing that awareness back into the body.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
Namaste.
