Hello and welcome to this meditation Heart and Mind Coherence.
So let's get into it.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in for the count of four.
Breathe out for the count of six and then take an even bigger breath in for the count of four.
Hold that breath for four and breathe out for the count of six.
And just gently breathing out and breathing in with your own rhythm.
Really feeling that breath expand right down deep into your belly,
Into the sides of your ribs and just relaxing,
Maybe even letting out a little when you breathe out.
And as you breathe in and breathe out just feel yourself slowly settling,
Slowly melting into the surface beneath you.
Just feel your body slowly melting like your body's just expanding into the space around you.
It's as if you can feel my words just allow your mind to relax,
Relax,
Relax.
Breathing in and breathing out and you're just bringing your awareness,
Your sense of feeling right into the middle of your head.
And it's as if someone's pulling a bath plug and any kind of energy,
Any tension,
Any static in your mind and your brain is just melting,
Draining away into this bath plug.
Feeling the left of your mind just melt slowly down.
The right of your mind melts slowly into the middle.
The front of your mind and your forehead back into the middle.
The back of your mind and head into the middle.
The top of your mind melting into the middle.
And finally the bottom of your mind just melting up,
Draining down the middle of your mind and just from that point feeling that flow down,
Down through your neck,
Down through your chest,
Down through your spine,
Down into the bottom of your back and down your thighs.
Melting down into your hips,
Down your legs,
Past your knees,
Into your feet and just feel it kind of melting like two more bath plugs are pulled out on the sole of each foot and one at the base of the spine.
Just feeling any excess just flow down,
Just leaving your system,
Feeling that flow,
That trickle down through your body,
Down and out into the earth below.
And all I want you to do,
Just to stay with that feeling and that presence,
Just pop one hand over the middle of your chest or your heart and one hand over your belly button,
Just breathing in,
Breathing out,
Really good,
Allowing your nervous system state to change.
All sorts of stress hormones just being metabolised now and you're just relaxing and releasing.
Your mind and your brain becoming more coherent and as you take a deep breath in,
Feeling any pressure in your neck and your throat,
Just take a deep breath in and breathing out and it's like your mind is really connected,
Really fired up and it's like those plug holes have been put back in,
Back into your feet,
Back into the bottom of your tailbone,
Back into the middle of your mind and the light,
The energy,
The electricity in your mind almost has a golden quality,
Almost has a silver quality and you can feel it coming alive like a light bulb and as it does,
Feeling it flicker,
Feeling any pressure or tension in your scalp,
Relax and release too.
You just feel that begin to gather and flow down,
Down into the brain stem,
Down through your spine,
Through your neck,
Down into the middle of your chest and also flowing down into the muscle,
The structure,
The tissue of your heart.
It's as if this support for the heart suddenly allows the heart to feel recognised,
It can unfurl,
It can relax,
You feel the tension in your shoulders release,
In the middle of your back,
In between your ribs and your breasts even and it's like this light,
This silver light starts to reawaken that extra engine of the heart,
A free heart,
Feeling your heart kind of come back online and flicker with golden specks of light and all of a sudden it starts to flow with its own current and that golden light starts to flow and dance and blend with that silver light and your heart feels twice,
Three times,
Four times,
Five times even,
Bigger,
Bolder,
Lighter,
Fuller,
Softer,
Warmer and with each beat you can feel that light,
That wisdom being imprinted into the blood and carried out into the rest of the body,
Good.
You can feel that and it's like you're coming back into focus,
All of the body's processes,
Cellular,
All of them,
A reflection of this snapshot,
This heartbeat,
This imprint into the blood and as that silver light begins to be drawn more and more and more and you can feel it grow in your head,
It's not draining anything,
It starts to make that golden light grow in your heart and you can feel that in your heart and then that starts to flow back up,
Back up through your nervous system,
Back up through your spine,
Back up through your neck,
Back up through your brain stem and into all the structures of your brain and as you breathe out without having really to do anything at all,
You feel that light from your mind flow down into your heart and you feel that light from your heart flow up into your mind and it's uncanny you can feel your heart synchronised with your breath and you can feel almost the flickering and waves of your brain synchronising with your breath and your heart too.
You can feel a greater sense of presence into the space around you as any murkiness or dullness in your energy field,
In your aura around you begins to dissolve like clouds clearing,
Revealing a bright sunny blue sky.
You can feel that outer edge of your aura too as if you're surrounded in a sphere and in your own sense of feeling you can feel this connection between your heart and your mind as it pulses,
As it beats,
As it sings and dances,
You can feel that outer layer of your aura getting more robust,
More reflective,
More in harmony with you and this sort of synchronised feeling between the heart and mind is such a yummy place to inhabit so as you're breathing in and you're really established here,
There's a good seven minute space here just to really practice holding yourself in that space.
So as you're breathing in and breathing out just returning to the feeling,
Returning to that sensation and feeling as if all parts of your brain are open as if they're all connected to each other,
Feeling your body relax,
Absorb,
Receive or transmit however it goes as you flow in and out of all states.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Really using this space here.
Still breathing in and breathing out,
Maybe wriggling your fingers or wriggling your toes and maybe experiencing that sense of fullness,
Plumpness in your skin,
In your system,
In your muscles,
In your blood,
Really feel that presence of breath and ease and softness that's returned to your belly too.
Taking this easy as you come back,
Maybe setting an intention to repeat this meditation to establish an even deeper connection and working recent memory of you connected.
Feeling that electromagnetic field around you,
Around your heart,
Around your brain and feeling that coherence,
That yumminess and that warmth between head and heart.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Coming back gently in your own time as the music fades.
