Notice how your chest is rising and falling with every breath in and every breath out.
With every breath in,
Inhale calm soothing energy and with every breath out release any tensions or stress that you might be storing in your mind and in your body.
So with another breath in,
Invite more peace and calmness and with another breath out release tension and stress.
When you are ready,
I want you to imagine a beautiful tree just in front of you.
It can be a tree that you have seen or it can be just an imaginary tree.
Notice its stillness,
Its beauty.
Notice the strength and resilience of its trunk.
Notice the flexibility and resilience of its branches.
How much wisdom does this tree have?
Take a closer look and notice the strength,
Beauty and resilience of this tree in front of you.
And now I want you to allow yourself to become this tree.
Merge your awareness with the awareness of this tree.
Notice how your roots are grounded.
Notice the stillness and strength of your trunk.
Your neck and your head are the branches of the tree.
You are centered,
Still and strong.
You can withstand any winds of change.
You are beautiful,
Wise and majestic.
Your presence has qualities beyond thought and words.
And as you are sitting here as this majestic tree,
You can notice the sun moving across the sky.
You can notice how day turns into night.
Overhead you have a roof made of stars and clouds and you can see the bright pale moon casting its silver light.
You can also see seasons changing and no matter what season there is,
You have so much resilience in you that you can withstand any season.
You know when the time comes to let go of old leaves,
To make space for the new leaves to come.
You are in perfect harmony with things coming and going.
There is no resistance in you to the rhythm of nature and to the rhythm of life.
There is a place inside you that is still and centered no matter what changes are happening around you.
You know perfectly well what to do and which leaves have to go in order to be calm and strong in the face of any challenges.
So right now check if there are any leaves that should be gone by now.
Check if there is anything that you want to release to make space for new things and just let them go.
Let these old leaves fall.
It is easy,
You are making space for new beautiful leaves that will be there in no time at all.
I will give you a few more seconds to breathe in the wisdom,
Strength and resilience of this beautiful tree that you are.
And now I want you to slowly start coming back to your body.
Take with you inner strength,
Stillness,
Resilience and the ease of letting go.
