Find yourself a quiet place to sit.
Make sure that your phone is on mute and that you are awake.
This is your time.
This is the time of your self-care.
This is the time for total relaxation and inner stillness.
Rest your hands loosely in your lap and when you are ready,
Close your eyes.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Hold it for a moment and then slowly exhale.
Allow any tension in your body to melt away.
And now take another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Hold it for a moment and then slowly breathe out.
And one more time.
Take another deep breath in,
Hold it for a moment and then let it go.
Just like you are letting go of any tension in your body.
Continue to breathe slowly and gently,
Relaxing different parts of your body and letting your mind slow down.
Let the feeling of peace and calmness embrace your body and your mind,
Leaving any thoughts of worries behind you.
Your entire body is more and more relaxed and calm with every breath in and with every breath out.
Now it's time to leave the external world behind and go on an inner journey,
A journey to a place of deep inner peace.
Imagine that you are standing on a white sandy beach.
It's early in the morning and the weather is perfect.
Just the kind of weather that you really like.
The sun is rising slowly and you can feel the warm orange light on your face and your body.
There is something very peaceful about this beach.
It makes you feel even more relaxed and at the same time more relaxed.
A light breeze caresses your face,
The sand beneath your bare feet is soft and warm.
You are listening to the relaxing sound of the ocean.
Its waves are breaking gently on the shore.
You are really happy that you can be in this beautiful place.
Somewhere on your right side,
Not too far away from where you are standing.
There is a forest and something is telling you that you need to go into that direction.
So start walking in the direction of that ancient forest and enjoy every step of this walk.
Every moment on this beautiful beach is making you calmer and more still.
As you get closer to this beautiful forest you can see that there is a beautiful view that there is a narrow path that leads deep into this rich green forest.
Follow that path and begin your journey into the heart of the forest.
This forest seems familiar to you like the memory of a pleasant dream or a place you really loved as a child.
Walk deeper into the forest and with every step of the path enjoy the feeling of calmness and stillness.
And when you have reached the very height of this forest you can see that there is a shimmering pond of crystal clear water.
This is the pond of perfect stillness.
Notice that its water is perfectly still like a mirror free from even the slightest ripple.
When you are ready step into the pond and nourish yourself with this perfect stillness.
Feel yourself sliding into a deep state of relaxation.
In this pond your thoughts simply melt away,
Always still and silent.
Your mind seems to expand,
You feel timeless,
Fast and relaxed.
I will give you a couple of minutes now to enjoy this experience of inner silence.
What do you feel?
Fear blindness.
Slowly bring your awareness back to the pond.
You are deeply relaxed and refreshed.
Now it's time to make your way back home.
So leave the pond and start walking back to the beach.
You feel relaxed and at peace and you are enjoying every step of your walk.
When you get to the beach you are home.
Feeling relaxed and refreshed and full of inner peace and stillness.
Slowly bring your attention back to your breath.
Notice how your chest is rising and falling with every breath in and every breath out.
Become aware of the room in which you are sitting.
If you wish you can move your fingers and toes gently to reconnect with your body and when you are ready open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day.
