Hello and welcome to this meditation that will help you connect with your future self so that you may receive the insight that you need in this present moment.
My name is Wana and I am honored to help you connect to your source of infinite wisdom.
You never need to look far for this,
You only need to dive deep within you.
So let's dive deep,
Shall we?
Start by finding yourself a quiet,
Comfortable space.
Whether you prefer to be seated or laying,
Just make sure your spine is straight so that you can breathe deeply and effortlessly.
Okay,
Now that you've found your spot,
Let's take these next few moments to ground here fully by bringing your mind's focus to your body.
Notice where your body meets the ground.
Are your feet planted on the floor?
How about your hands?
What are they making contact with?
Are they placed gently on your thighs?
Or perhaps they're by your side?
If you feel you may find more comfort switching up your position ever so slightly,
Do so now.
Next,
Feel your strong connection to the earth as you begin taking a nice big inhale for 5 counts,
Filling your chest and lungs up with air,
And then a slow,
Deep,
Cleansing exhale for 5 counts,
Completely emptying your lungs.
So together,
Breathe in 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
And breathe out 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
In 1,

3,
4,
5,
And out 5,
4,

Great.
Continue breathing deeply and steadily on your own at a pace that feels good for you,
Feeling yourself getting lighter and more relaxed with every breath cycle as you allow yourself to slip deeper and deeper into a calm,
Peaceful,
Meditative state.
As I continue to speak,
This heavy,
Relaxed feeling will only get stronger and stronger as you sink even deeper into yourself.
If any thoughts intrude,
Simply let them drift on by while you stay anchored to your breath.
As you sit in this calm,
Safe,
Meditative space,
I'd like you to imagine yourself at the top of a staircase leading to a door at the very bottom.
There's 10 steps to go down and I will guide you slowly and gently through each one.
You will find that the deeper down you go,
The more comfortable and the more relaxed you will become.
There's no rush to get to the bottom,
So just follow my lead as I count down the steps.
Here we go.

Go ahead and take your first step down.
Feel yourself sinking even further.

You step down the second step and feel yourself getting calmer and calmer.

When you reach the third step,
It's as if your body is floating blissfully away.

Deeply relaxed,
Deeply comfortable.

More and more calm.

More and more comfortable.

More and more at ease.

Almost at the bottom,
Just one last step.
Relax even further.
And 1.
Going all the way down into the deepest,
Most relaxed and calm state of your mind.
You've left the stairs in your everyday world behind.
And in front of you,
There stands a large closed door.
Go ahead and push it open and step onto the other side,
Where you find yourself in a beautiful,
Peaceful forest of your imagination's making.
Visualize the details of this forest,
From the colors to the smells,
The sights to the sounds.
Imagine the warmth of the sun on your skin or the gentle breeze on your face as you begin to stroll down a wide,
Well-worn trail.
As you walk calmly along this path,
You see a familiar face,
Your face,
Only older.
This is your future self approaching you.
Whether it's you one year,
Five years,
Ten,
Even twenty to thirty years from now,
You decide which age of yourself you are meeting with.
This future version of you is living the life you dream.
Having achieved your goals,
They look happy,
Fulfilled and at peace.
They're also very delighted to meet with their younger self,
In other words,
You.
Take a brief moment to embrace them before you continue along on the path together,
Walking and chatting as if best friends catching up.
Your future self holds the wisdom you seek to know,
For they're living the life you desire now.
So as you walk side by side through this enchanted forest,
Take advantage of their insight by asking these next questions,
Allowing their answers to fully seep into your being.
Let's begin with the first question.
What makes you happy and content now?
What things,
Places or people did you have to let go of in order to find that happiness?
Where did you find your biggest fulfillment in life?
And how has that evolved over time?
What are some things that you valued in the past,
But no longer do so?
What do you value now more than anything?
What have you learned about yourself over the years?
What advice would you give me to help overcome the current obstacles I am facing?
What steps can I take today to help me better prepare for the future I want?
Is there anything else you'd like to tell me that I need to know to live more in alignment with my soul's purpose?
What are some things that you are grateful for right now?
And finally,
Take these next few moments to ask any other questions you'd like,
Sit with these answers given to you,
And really integrate them in.
It's now time to go your separate ways.
So hug and thank your future self for the wealth of wisdom they have imparted you with.
Allow your future self to walk away,
As you keep the messages they revealed to you near and dear to your heart.
It's now time to return the same way you came in.
You turn around and see the same door you walk through.
Open and enter.
I will count you up as you gain more and more awareness with each step.
By the 10th step,
You will be feeling wide awake,
Fully present,
And completely refreshed.
Ready to continue on with the rest of your day.
