Welcome to this guided meditation that will help you drift off into your sleep with gratitude in your heart.
My name is Juana and I am so thankful to be able to guide you through this transition to dreamland.
So,
If you aren't already settled into your bed,
Do so now.
Take a few moments to just find the position that is most comfortable for you,
Preferably one that allows for easy,
Soft breathing in whatever way comes most naturally to you.
Once you've found your sweet spot,
Just take a moment to appreciate the comfiness of your bed.
Bask in the warmth of your blankets.
Appreciate the support of your mattress and relax into the comfort of your pillow.
Give a moment of thanks for the fact that you have a bed to sleep in each and every night,
Something we often take for granted.
Take a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and affirm silently to yourself,
I love my bed.
I love my pillow.
I love the ease of my world.
Another big breath in and out as you now take some time to give thanks for at least three things that happened today.
These things could have been big or small,
Size doesn't matter here,
Only the depth of your appreciation does.
What are you thankful for?
Really feel the gratitude for all the blessings you have in your life as you feel your body melting into a deep state of relaxation.
With each inhale you breathe in more ease.
With each exhale you breathe out any tension.
Give in to your bed,
There's nothing for you to do right now but rest.
Let go of any thoughts.
Let go of any worries.
Let go of any to-dos.
Let go to this present moment,
Here and now.
Use every inhale and exhale to calm yourself into a space of stillness.
Rest your mind.
Rest your body.
Rest your soul and wake up feeling refreshed and re-energized.
Follow the quiet rhythm of your breath.
Take the breath in.

Allow this deep feeling of peace to follow you into your sleep.
