I have a question I work with someone that I felt I fell for and she said she can't be with me because she was just coming out of a divorce and well she did something that hurt me like ghosting " but I also realise she didn't probably have the emotional capacity or maturity" and that's why she did it . In my heart of hearts I felt a connection and I believe she did ( well turns out she was dating someone) . But I have set a boundary and am trying to detach and it has been the hardest time of my life. I guess what I want to ask is does detaching mean I should keep staying away and being polite like I am or does it mean reconnect from a detached state if or when that is?.
