A guided meditation that teaches beginners in meditation, and people who feel stressed or anxious, how to relax deeply through the conscious release of facial muscular tension, channeling of relaxing energy to the head, and gentle facial and cranial massage. Knowingly and unknowingly, we tend to hold onto stress, worry, and anxiety and carry it in our body.  When we do, our nervous system can be in a constant state of fight-or-flight and we can be expanding a lot of energy and deplete ourselves unnecessarily. This guided meditation for deep relaxation helps you become aware of physical tensions in your body and release them through gently massaging your face while guiding the stress and tension to dissolve from your facial muscles and your cranium to attain a peaceful and restful physical, mental, and emotional state.

Meditation,

Beginners deep relaxation.

Find a comfortable place where you can sit on a chair or on the ground or simply lay down.

Close your eyes and let go.

Inhaling through your nose,

Exhale out of your mouth,

Releasing all the tensions on the physical,

Mental and emotional level of your being.

Now bring your hands together and begin to rub the palms of your hands together,

Feeling the heat and the energy created in your hands as you continue to rub them together.

Continue rubbing your hands together,

Creating more and more energy in your hands,

Feeling more and more sensitive,

Feeling tingles in your fingers,

In the palms of your hands.

Now place your hands on your face,

Palming your face with your hands.

Bring your hands as close to your face as possible,

Touching the skin of your face with the palms of your hands.

Feel the warmth of your hands moving into the skin of your face,

Feeling your face becoming warmer,

More relaxed,

Dissolving all the tensions as more and more energy from the palms of your hands moves into your face,

Intending to relax your face,

To relax all the muscles of your face,

Feeling the face heavy,

Limp,

Relaxed.

Now bring your fingertips at the forehead and begin to massage gently your forehead,

Creating space and warmth in the forehead as you massage it,

Intending to let go of all the tension in your forehead,

Feeling the healing energy from your hands move into your forehead,

Naturally relaxing the forehead,

Moving into your eyebrows,

Massaging your eyebrows,

Feeling the warmth from your fingers move into your eyebrows,

Relaxing this space,

Releasing all tensions that allow for whatever distraction of thoughts,

Emotions,

Physical sensation that arises through this process to come to the surface and release.

Moving your fingertips to the side of your eyes,

Begin to massage your temples in circular motions,

Releasing tension,

Creating space,

Sending the warmth from your fingers into your skin.

Feeling the temples getting warmer and warmer,

Expanded,

Feeling tingles in your forehead,

Your eyebrows,

Your temples,

Move your fingertips to your eyelids,

Massaging gently your eyelids,

Sending the warmth from your fingers into your eyelids,

Relaxing your eyes,

Relaxing all the muscles around the eyes as you massage your eyelids,

Feeling your eyes sinking into their sockets,

Relaxed,

Bringing your hands now to your cheeks,

Massaging your cheeks,

Dissolving the tensions in your cheeks with this warmth,

With this healing energy from your hands,

Feeling more and more tingles in your face,

From your forehead all the way to your cheeks,

Gently begin to massage your nose now in circular motion,

Gently dissolving the tension,

Allowing for any impurities,

Any toxins to be released through this process,

Relaxing your nose,

Now move to your lips,

Start massaging your lips,

Sending the warmth from your fingers into your lips,

Feeling the lips heavy,

Limp,

Relaxed,

Feeling the entire mouth relax as a result,

Massaging your jaw now,

Relaxing the area of your jaw as you massage it,

Sending warmth,

Healing energy into your jaw,

Feeling your entire face warm,

Tingling,

Relaxed,

Moving on to your ears,

Gently massaging your ears,

All parts of your ears,

Softly,

Gently,

Feeling the warmth from your fingers move into your ears,

Feeling the healing energy relax your ears,

Moving your hands to your scalp,

Begin to massage your scalp,

Relaxing,

Intending for the entire back of your head to relax,

Creating space,

Warmth as the energy from your hands moves into your scalp,

Sending this energy into your brain,

Relaxing your brain,

Sending a signal to the rest of the body to completely relax,

Feeling more and more relaxed,

Bring your hands to your neck and begin to massage your neck,

Releasing all the tensions from your neck,

Creating space,

Warmth in your neck,

Letting go of all muscular tension,

Feeling relaxed,

Continuously sending this signal of relaxation into the entire body,

Feeling completely relaxed,

Slowly begin to come back,

Gently deepening your breath,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes,

And when you are ready,

Slowly opening your eyes.
