Hi lovely people,
It's Nisha here from Joyful Living.
I hope you're all well.
So last week I met a very sweet lady at the gym and she was opening up and talking about fertility and I was saying about my different meditations.
So this one is for her.
I'm creating one around fertility.
So nurturing the body and releasing pressure.
So this is a space to pause,
Soften.
And come home to yourself.
So whether you are trying to conceive,
Going through fertility treatment.
Considering your fertility journey or simply wanting to reconnect with your body.
Allow this practice to be a moment where you don't have to achieve anything.
There is nothing you need to make happen.
Simply allow yourself to rest.
And find a comfortable position lying on your back.
Or choose any position that feels supportive for your body.
And I invite you to gently close your eyes down.
And take a slow,
Comfortable breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
And allow your body.
To become heavy.
Let the ground beneath you.
Hold you completely.
You don't need to hold yourself up anymore.
Just right.
And bring your awareness.
To the natural rhythm of your breath.
And notice the gentle movement of your belly as you breathe in.
And as you breathe out.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing else you need to do.
For these next few moments.
Give yourself permission to simply be.
If thoughts about fertility.
Appointments,
Treatment,
Dates,
Tests,
Or the future arises.
You don't need to push them away.
Just simply notice them.
And allow them to pass.
And come back to the feeling of your body resting.
The feeling of being supported.
The feeling of breathing.
Now bring to mind your sankalpa.
Your intention.
I trust my body.
And honour my journey.
Or I allow myself to soften and receive.
Or simply.
I am enough.
Exactly as I am.
And choose whatever words.
Feel right for you.
And repeat your intention silently three times.
And allow the words to settle gently into your awareness.
There is nothing to force.
Just plant the intention like a small seed.
And then let it be.
And now bring awareness to body parts as I name them.
Starting on the right side.
Your right hand thumb.
First finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Rest.
Forearm elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Right side of the chest.
The ways.
Bye.
Me.
Car.
Ankle.
The Hail.
The sole of your right foot.
The top of your foot.
And all five toes.
Bringing awareness and letting them soften.
Now move your awareness to the left.
Left hand thumb.
Fast finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Right.
Forearm.
Alba.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Left side of your chest.
The way.
Thigh.
Me.
Calm.
And corn.
Heal.
Soul of the foot.
Top of the fat.
And do five toes.
And bring awareness to the back of your body.
Back of your head.
Shoulder blades.
Upper back.
Middle bar.
Lower back.
The back of your pelvis.
Back of your thighs.
The call.
Heal.
Now the front of your body.
The forehead.
Bye.
Jaw.
Ciao.
Pelvis.
The front of your thigh.
Me.
Shin.
And feet.
Feel your whole body.
Your entire body resting.
And your whole body breathing.
And then bring your awareness.
Back to your breath.
And notice your abdomen.
Gently rising as you inhale.
And softly falling as you exhale.
There is no need to change your breath.
Simply observe.
And imagine each exhalation.
Creating a little more space.
A little more softness.
A little more ease.
With every breath out.
Release the need to control what happens next.
You can care deeply about your fertility journey.
And still allow yourself to rest.
And can have hope.
And give yourself permission to feel whatever you feel.
You can still want something deeply.
And still be kind to yourself along the way.
Now gently bring your awareness.
Towards your lower abdomen and pelvis.
There is no need to imagine anything changing.
Simply notice this area of your body.
Feel the natural movements created by your breath.
Imagine your breath creating spaciousness around the lower belly.
And softness around the pelvis.
Warmth,
Comfort,
Ease.
If this feels emotional for you.
That's completely okay.
There is no right way to feel.
Simply offer yourself kindness.
You may imagine a gentle warm light.
Surrounding the pelvis.
Not changing anything.
Not fixing anything.
Simply offering comfort.
With every breath silently saying Softness,
Breathing in.
Softness,
Breathing out.
Trust.
Breathing in.
And trust.
Breathing out.
Now imagine placing.
All the pressure you have been carrying outside of yourself.
The pressure to know when.
The pressure to understand why.
The pressure to stay positive.
And the pressure to have all the answers.
For now,
You don't need to carry any of it.
Imagine placing it down besides you.
You can pick it up again later if you need to.
But for these moments,
Just let yourself rest.
You are more than your fertility.
More than a test result.
More than an appointment.
More than a future outcome.
You are a whole person.
And you deserve care,
Compassion and rest right now.
Now imagine yourself somewhere.
That feels completely safe and peaceful.
Perhaps a beautiful garden.
A quiet beach.
A forest.
A peaceful room.
Or somewhere important to you.
Notice the colors around.
The temperature of the air.
The sounds in the distance.
Feel the ground beneath you.
There is nothing you need to accomplish here.
Simply exist in this peaceful space.
And imagine yourself.
Surrounded.
By feeling of warmth and support.
You don't need to know what the future holds.
You don't need to see a particular outcome.
Just allow yourself to rest.
And repeat in your mind,
I am allowed to rest.
I'm allowed to hope.
I am allowed to fail.
I'm allowed to take this one moment at a time.
Now return your awareness.
To the feeling of your body.
Feel the support beneath you.
Fill your breath.
Nothing needs to happen.
Rest here for a few moments.
Noticing your whole body.
Your whole body resting.
Your whole body breathing.
Gently coming back to your breath.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice the room around you.
Hear the sound.
And gently move your fingers and toes.
Perhaps roll your shoulders.
Can either come back.
Will gently drift off to sleep.
Hari Om Tat Sat.
Hari Om Tat Sat.
See you next time.
