Restorative yoga expert with 26 years teaching experience, degree in movement therapy and author of “awake and calm” restorative home practice manual. Nicole created a unique style introducing restorative yoga pathways to optimize awareness of our body’s spaces and build support for healing. Use of yoga props is essential for receiving the poses. Restorative is about opening more than stretching so please have props ready for your session: Bolster or cushion, blocks, belt, sandbag, therapy ball are among some we play with. Nicole created sundogyoga and trainings at several colleges to support teachers and all levels of students. She brings a playful inspiration and is a life long student learning from mentors Judith Lasater, Donna Farhi, Feldenkrais techniques, myofascial rolling methods and living and learning self care for the human condition. Nicole is trained in working with Love Your Brain Yoga, for those affected by Traumatic Brain Injury.
