Here is a poem I wrote and performed in Sydney in 2019; after going through the Darkness Of The Soul. I was ready to step into a new version of myself. I was enjoying showing up bold and rebellious. I was ready for new experiences. May this poem be an opportunity for reflection, healing, and personal evolution. Please note: This track may include some explicit language.

Here is a poem that I wrote and performed in 2019 and in this moment we are in 2023 and I'm very grateful that it's still in my phone notes.

The poem is called That Tea,

Like the drink,

The hot drink,

A tea.

So I'm honored to be an Insight Timer teacher and to share with you this journey,

This humanness that we all share and through that poem I was sharing a profound experience of mine.

I let you discover and reflect on it.

That tea.

Drink it either hot or icy cold.

Not in between.

That's my way of living.

I'm like the fire.

I want to show up fully though I can't thrive if you don't touch me.

I can't thrive if you don't move me.

Move me.

Move.

Move this body.

Everything has to flow.

That shadow I feel and let it be.

I dance to let it go.

I trust the present as much as I breathe.

I breathe deeply.

I let it in.

I let love getting in like if there was no tomorrow.

I love deeply.

I cry easily and through that path I have found my land.

It's in my own heart.

I look for a hand.

I know you are here.

My faith is my fuel.

My heart is with my soul.

I feel my humanness to the full.

Never loved so much being alive.

I'll take the highs and the lows.

X's and O's.

Oh yeah.

My intuition is my guide.

Don't mess with me.

I can ride.

Manual also I can drive.

I have been through never-ending darkness.

I will still go through pain.

The pain of the goddess.

That's the fate of this life.

But overall what a gift.

For sure those emotions lead to some shift.

I am by myself.

Words in the flow.

The flow and the letting go.

Thank you dear life.

You have made something quite cool with me.

I think I'm a rebel.

I go against all belief.

I cry and not just for grief.

I'm ready to face my fear.

Doing things that some people can't do.

Give them to me.

I will face it here.

Is it time to stop?

I'm a rebel.

I will keep going.

My heart is solid and empty too.

It's like a blank canva.

Anytime I paint on it.

Are my words clear?

My mind may go nonsense when I feel fear.

Get that tea.

Get that tea and drink it hot.

Not in between as I said it.

Get that tea and share it with others.

Say I love you when you mean it.

Say mmm fuck you when you mean it too.

Because life is short.

What?

That's a lie.

I feel immortal.

Not scared to die.

Not scared to die.

I can die tonight.

I have no regret.

I have done everything I wanted to date.

Right now.

Here and now.

Is my way.
