Poem - Fear

I woke up this morning and I asked so what? So what now? The answer was exist live Exit dance Exist dance existence Time has passed and my mind gives me reasons to feel bad about myself While my soul gives me permission to be now. I noticed the fear in my core each morning from the bottom of my sternum to below my navel That is the home of my fear Fear can be so paralyzing. I now understand that people want to quit out of fear It takes so much courage and bravery to say no to fear It takes so much courage and bravery to say fear I love you, But no thanks Fear I love you Listen fear I'm choosing to do it anyway Fear is only doing its job Which is to make you afraid I have a choice as I am in this existence exist dance Exist my soul says exist If you do something now Do it at a thousand percent Because you are scared no matter what you change So do it big Fear will be there all along. Anyway as You take fear as a companion It will sit there in the middle of an explosion of satisfaction As you befriend fear It will sit there surrounded by smiles As you make fear your partner It will sit there and watch you exist As you allow fear to be there It will talk to you and say My name is fear and I love you Thank you for loving me back You are so free to exist fully without me now
