Welcome to this meditation,

Designed just to bring you back to yourself.

I'd like you to take a seat or lay down,

Whichever position you feel more comfortable in.

This is a short practice.

Once you're comfortable,

I'd like you to take a look around you,

Just noticing what you can see.

Taking in the space,

Being aware of all the finer details.

Maybe looking around you and absorbing the present moment as much as you can.

No judgement is required.

Just observing.

I'd now like you to gently close your eyes.

Just listening as your eyes are closed.

What can you hear around you?

What noises can you hear in the distance?

Any humming or the sound of electricity?

Can you hear any devices,

Any animals or any people talking?

The easiest way for meditation to unfold is to simply listen.

To observe.

To be the witness of your surroundings.

Noticing the space in between my words.

Being aware of the quality of the silence.

I'd now like you to focus on the very tip of your nose.

Notice if your eyes tend to cross even though they're closed.

Or if you start to feel the slight energy in and around the forehead when you concentrate.

Just take your focus gently away and then come back to the nose when you can.

We're now going to take this focus inwards.

I'd like you to bring this focus right into your heart.

Imagine that you are a tiny version of yourself and that you are sat inside your heart.

And as you look up and around you,

It's like you're in a big red cave.

You can gently feel the heart beating underneath you.

As you watch the walls of your heart from the inside pulsing,

You realise the power of your heart.

That it's always there.

It's always beating.

Even when you're not paying attention.

I'd like you to imagine that you can feel the heart beating as you sit there absorbing in your surroundings.

Notice how still you feel right now.

Notice that you've brought your attention inwards and that you're able to come back to the heart.

At any time.

It's from this place within that we truly connect.

Bringing our awareness inwards.

Being at peace.

With all that is.

Once again just noticing the stillness.

The presence.

The awareness.

And the space and the silence in between my words.

You're at peace with all that is.

And there's nowhere else you need to be.

You are safe.

You are sound.

You are divinely protected.

I'd like you to stay in this stillness for as long as you need.

Thank you for allowing me to guide you home.
