An evening meditation to end the day the right way. This will help you to release the events of the day. Allow yourself to sleep with a clear mind. Grab a pen and paper and get yourself comfortable. You may wish to make notes after you finish.

Good evening.

Welcome to the end of your day.

Despite what may have happened today,

Good or bad,

We each have the power to change how we feel.

By being willing to face what's true and being willing to own our part in all that we create.

We hold a great power in being able to bring harmony into our worlds and into the lives of others.

It's our responsibility to begin and to end our days well.

To open and to close the loop of life.

We're going to start with three deep breaths.

Breathing in through the nose.

Drawing in as much air as you can.

I'd like you to hold this breath.

For five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

And one.

Releasing the breath out through the mouth.

And just noticing the new stillness that's been created.

And breathing deeply and allowing yourself some time.

Take another deep breath in through the nose.

Expanding the stomach and filling up the lungs.

And holding this breath for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

And one.

Releasing the breath out through the mouth,

Again,

Noticing the stillness that you've created.

Becoming aware of the silence in between my words.

We'll now take the third and final breath.

Breathing in through the nose,

Drawing in as much air as you can.

And expanding the stomach again.

Filling up the lungs.

And holding this breath for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

And one.

Three,

Two,

And one.

Releasing the breath out through the mouth,

Dropping the shoulders.

And releasing any tension from the jaw.

Being in the stillness.

Allowing yourself to feel.

Every feeling has a beginning,

A middle,

And an end.

And when we disrupt the flow of the feeling and we try to move past it or away from it,

We don't allow the loop of life to flow through us.

This is when we block the energy.

When we block the energy,

Our body keeps the score.

This can bring about this ease in the body.

And whatever we don't feel today,

We're bringing on the feeling for another day.

So it's important to be able to let the feelings come,

To feel them,

And allow them to be let go.

I'd like you to place your hands out in front of you on your knees.

I'd like you to bring into this sacred space all the people and the things that brought you anxiety or stress or brought you any unwelcome feelings today.

I'd like you to bring all of this energy of life into the palms of your hands.

We're gathering together all the things we'd like to change.

We'd like to be different.

We'd like to leave behind and the things we don't want to carry into tomorrow.

Bring everything into the palms of your hands.

You're going to hold all of the problems of today in your hands.

These problems are not you.

They're in your field.

They're around you.

They're within your vortex.

But they are still not you.

Allow yourself to see that you're separate from these problems.

You're holding them in your hands.

You're now ready to hand these problems over to a higher power.

I'd like you to raise your hands in the air as if you were handing your problems over,

Suggesting that you don't need to know all the answers.

You don't need to know how things will work out,

But that you are willing to hand over everything you do not wish to experience to something greater than you and I,

And to have faith that everything will be okay.

I'd like you to imagine your problems are being received by the universe.

You can gently bring your hands down to your knees.

I'd like you to repeat after me.

Thank you for this time with myself today.

Thank you for the greater awareness I now have.

Thank you to myself for taking personal responsibility of all I create.

And thank you for the new and improved version of me.

As you sit here in this new energy,

After handing over all of your problems,

Allow yourself to truly feel who you are.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Dropping your shoulders,

Releasing any tension from the jaw,

Or the skin.

Just notice how you feel in this sacred space.

There's a true power and wisdom in the silence.

And if you're willing to meet yourself here on a daily basis,

You'll start to see and recognize true benefits.

Deep transformations will take place in your life.

Things will shift.

Things will change.

And you won't quite be able to understand why.

But if you're willing to commit and have freedom within your discipline,

Then you'll truly see life unfold in the most miraculous way.

I'd like you to put your hands on your heart and make a promise to yourself that you'll keep coming home.

And that you're willing to be here now.

Thank you for taking the time for yourself.

Enjoy your rest.

Enjoy your sleep.

And repeat after me.

I am safe.

I am sound.

I am abundant.

And I am divinely protected.

I am.
