Choosing ourselves and to meet our own needs over our loved one's can seem strange and selfish, but the ability to choose yourself and to put your own needs first is sometimes the best thing for others aswell as yourself.

Wise advice.

I didn't know how 'choosing you' would manifest itself, but I think it feathered in with the meditations and affirmations that I've been listening to. I've been working very hard with my Psychotherapist on self compassion, self confidence, and self love. The meditations and affirmations are radically changing how I think about myself. Putting myself first is an alien concept for me and I think lots of others. I have dogs and people who need me, but maybe if I put myself first, I will have more energy to look after them. This little gem is going into my morning meditations list.
I will listen to it often and am very grateful for it.
