Good morning.
Welcome to your day.
This morning's meditation is designed to help you relax,
To start your day the right way.
We're going to start with some breathing.
I'd like you to take a deep breath in through the nose,
Drawing in as much air as you can,
Expanding the stomach and filling up the lungs and holding this breath for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one,
Releasing the breath out through the mouth,
Dropping the shoulders and falling deeper into the silence.
We're now going to do a second breath,
Breathing in through the nose,
Expanding the stomach,
Filling up the lungs and holding this breath for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one,
Releasing the breath out through the mouth,
Dropping the shoulders,
Releasing the jaw,
And again,
Falling deeper and deeper into the silence.
We'll now take a third and final breath,
Breathing in through the nose,
Drawing as much air as you can and expanding your stomach,
Filling up the lungs and holding the breath for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one,
Releasing the breath out through the mouth,
And again,
Resting here in the stillness.
I'd like you to place both of your hands out in front of you and I'd like you to imagine and bring to the surface every problem you think you have today.
I'd like you to imagine you're putting each one of these problems out into your hands in front of you.
Anxieties,
Worries,
Pains,
Any people,
Anything that's annoying you,
Anything that frustrates you.
Bring all your fears,
Bring everything that you can think of,
Drawing it out of your body and out of your field and out of your mind,
Placing them in your hands,
Ready to surrender them to the power above,
Keeping these things tightly in your hands,
Making sure you've not forgotten anything.
It really is a time for you to bring everything forward,
All the things you'd prefer to forget,
The things that you've swept under the carpet.
Placing all of these worries and fears into the palms of your hands,
You're emptying your field of things that no longer serve you.
You may feel energy running up through your body and just notice how this makes you feel.
Notice when you bring all of these problems to the forefront of your mind,
How your body reacts.
It's time to let these go,
To come back to center,
To be still and to rest.
If you've now gathered everything you can think of and put it all into the palms of your hands,
I would like you to raise your arms as if you were handing over all of your problems to a higher power,
Being willing to let go and to let things be and to surrender and to not know how or when things will change,
But they will.
Have faith.
There's something beyond you and I that knows more than we ever will and that is willing to support us as and when we need it.
I'd like you to imagine you can now let go of everything,
Bringing your hands back down to your knees,
Keeping them open and just noticing the space in between my words,
The space around you,
An empty space in your hands,
Taking a deep breath in and dropping the shoulders,
Being comfortable with the energy of surrendering,
Allowing things to just be,
Keeping your eyes closed.
We're now going to change the energy of your day.
We're going to bring in all the things you'd like to experience,
All the positive things that help you to feel safe and grounded,
Smiles from strangers,
Hugs from loved ones,
Easy,
Passionate communication throughout your day where everyone you meet is kind,
Considerate and loving.
And because you've grounded yourself in what's true,
In the peace and the quiet,
You bring this stillness with you into every interaction you have today.
You bring a deeper level of peace to all of those around you.
This is the power of when you start your day the right way.
And as you sit here in the stillness and in the silence,
You can add anything you wish to experience and imagine these all dropping into the palms of your hands,
Welcoming the new energy,
Welcoming a new version of you.
Noticing yourself to feel abundant and calm and relaxed.
Noticing the feeling of excitement instead of nervousness.
Noticing the peace instead of the anxiety.
There's a deep power when you give yourself space and time to receive.
I'd like you to imagine all the positive things that are sitting in your hands right now.
You're holding on to what really matters.
You can now raise up your arms and bring your hands back into your chest,
Close to your heart and allow yourself to receive all the good things that you've asked for.
Breathing in.
I'd now like you to smile like a Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland,
Smiling from ear to ear,
Allowing your body to feel the sensation of excitement as you get ready for your new day.
You can repeat after me either out loud or in your mind.
I am safe.
I am sound.
I am abundant and I am divinely protected.
I am.
You're now ready for your new day,
But there's no need to rush.
Allow yourself to sit here when the meditation is finished,
To receive the quality of space and silence,
And to feel into who you truly are.
Have a good day.
