Welcome to your menstrual phase.
Your body knows how to release and let go of all that no longer serves.
As your uterus sheds her old lining,
You also shed the emotions,
Thoughts,
Fear,
And energy that you've been holding on to throughout the last few weeks of your cycle.
This is a time to slow down,
Rest,
And be completely immersed in your own energy.
The menstrual phase of a woman's cycle represents our inner winter.
During winter,
Everything slows down.
It seems to stop completely.
There is a stillness.
There is quiet silence.
I invite you to access this silence within your own body.
You may have resistance to slowing down.
You've become conditioned to produce,
Create,
Work,
And do.
But you are not a human doing.
You are a human being.
And you happen to be a human being in a woman's body that is intimately connected to the cycles of the moon.
Your moon cycle,
Your menstrual cycle,
Connects intimately with the moon.
Whereas the male hormones typically coordinate with the sun,
24-hour circadian rhythm,
Your miraculous feminine body coordinates with the cycle of the moon.
So imagine in this moment that there is a cord connecting your womb space to the moon itself.
And allow the light from the moon to gently nourish you.
Place your hands over your womb space and take a deep breath into your womb.
You are intimately connected to your intuition.
You are more in tune with the rhythms of nature.
You are more sensitive during this time,
And that is a beautiful thing.
So let us tap into your sensitivity,
Your intuition.
Feel your hands over your womb space.
And continue to take deep breaths down into your belly.
Sighing out any energy that wants to be released.
Allow yourself to rest and receive.
There is nothing that you need to do or become or create.
There will be a time and a place for creation and productivity.
Once your period ends and you enter the follicular phase,
You will regain that energy as your hormones begin to rise.
So for now,
All you need to do is just rest and receive.
Bring your awareness into your womb space.
And ask your womb,
What do I need to know right now?
Listen and pay attention to any symbols,
Visuals,
Images or words that your womb wants to communicate to you.
And if you have a specific question that you would like your own intuitive guidance on,
You may also ask your womb and have a dialogue with her.
She holds a lot of wisdom.
Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and take a deep breath down into your womb space,
Up into your heart and out of your mouth.
Welcoming yourself back into your body,
Into this space.
