Welcome to this breathwork practice for deep healing.

My name is Sarah.

I'm a breathwork guide and Reiki practitioner.

I'll be sending Reiki healing energy through this transmission.

You'll need a yoga mat,

A blanket,

An eye mask,

And some water and a journal for after your practice.

Although all of those things are optional because you really just need a safe space to lay down and breathe.

So get cozy,

Get settled in,

And let's go.

We'll be practicing the three-part breath,

Which is also known as conscious connected breathing,

And this allows us to access non-ordinary states of consciousness or altered states of consciousness.

We're affecting different parts of the brain so we can get a perspective shift.

There's an invitation for something new to come through or for memories to be processed.

We're opening up a dialogue with the healing intelligence that lives in our bodies.

This practice is embodied and active and it's not for everyone.

So if you have any history of heart conditions,

Psychiatric disorder,

PTSD,

Seizures,

Or if you're pregnant,

You may want to consult with your doctor before practicing this journey.

It's a powerful breath.

It's similar to an intense workout.

We call it breath work for a reason.

So let's practice the three-part breath together and then we'll dive in.

Everything is in and out through your mouth and take a deep belly breath down into your belly.

The second breath is up into your chest and the third is an exhale out of the mouth.

So inhale into your belly,

Filling your belly up like a balloon,

And then inhale up into your chest and open mouth exhale release.

So it sounds like this.

New sensations may arise in your body.

You may get warm,

Chilly,

Tingling,

Or you might even get cramping in your hands,

Mouth,

Or feet.

It's not dangerous and it will go away.

Just allow and ride the sensation,

Ride the waves of emotions that come up as well.

This is a de-armoring process.

So let everything come up and out.

If you need to cry,

You can cry,

If you need to scream,

You can scream,

And then just come back to your breath.

So we'll breathe this way and then we'll segue into a guided visualization and then I'll guide you out at the end.

Lay down in Shavasana on your back.

Bring awareness into your feet,

Wiggle your toes,

Relax your ankles,

Relax your shins and your calves.

Relax your knees and the space behind your knees.

Relax your thighs and your glutes.

Relax your pelvic floor,

Your lower belly.

Let go of any tension in your lower back,

Your mid-back,

And your upper back.

Relax your torso and your heart,

Opening up your chest.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your arms and hands.

Relax your neck and your jaw.

Open your mouth,

Stick out your tongue,

Say ah.

This helps to stimulate the vagus nerve,

Regulate our nervous system,

And just release tension from the day.

So take a deep breath in,

Let's do that again.

Open mouth,

Exhale as you stick your tongue out,

Say ah.

Let it go.

Now relax your cheeks and eyes.

Relax your forehead and the crown of your head,

The back of your head.

And imagine a golden light pouring in through the crown of your head,

Encompassing you in a warm,

Honey,

Golden light,

Sealing up your energy field with protection and love and safety as we journey together.

Set your intention for your practice,

Connecting with your heart's desire.

What would you like to heal or overcome?

You have a say in how this goes.

You have a say in co-creating your experience and in your own healing process.

So connecting with the deepest prayer of your heart and intention for your breathwork practice today.

Take a deep belly breath,

And open mouth exhale,

Let it go.

Now let's begin the three part breath.

Take a deep breath into your belly,

Filling up your belly like a balloon.

The second breath is up into your chest.

Now open mouth exhale,

Release.

Just like that.

Great job.

Inhale into the belly,

Inhale into the chest,

Open mouth exhale,

Release.

Inhale belly,

Chest,

Exhale,

Let it go.

Remember,

Everything is in and out through your mouth.

If that's too intense for you,

You can always breathe in and out through your nose.

Think of your nose as the brakes,

But your mouth is the gas pedal.

So let's hit the gas and breathe together.

Inhaling into the belly,

Into the chest,

Exhale,

Let it go.

Beautiful.

Keep breathing at this pace on your own.

I will be here to guide you through the entire experience and will guide you out at the end.

There's no pausing in between breaths.

So every breath is connected to the next one.

Just keep your breath moving.

Resistance may come early,

But that's a part of this.

Just keep breathing through it.

Your mind might not be used to doing something unfamiliar and may ultimately want to give up.

It's okay to take a break,

But I encourage you to keep breathing through this practice.

And there's ultimately no wrong way to breathe.

Just focusing on the three-part breath into your belly,

Into your chest,

And simply allow the exhales to fall out rather than pushing them out.

If this cadence or speed of the breath doesn't work for you,

Perhaps there's another one that works better.

You can always slow it down or speed it up.

Listen to your body.

You are your own guide.

You have your foot on the gas and on the brake at all times.

You are ultimately in control of this experience.

The more you let go,

The more you are supported.

So simply allow the exhales to fall out of the mouth rather than pushing them out.

Just allow the breath to leave.

And along with it,

Taking along any fear,

Any doubt,

Any worries,

Any grief or shame,

Anger,

Or whatever it is that you're releasing today,

Let it go on your exhale.

If there's anything that you have about what this experience is supposed to be,

You can just throw that all out the window.

There is nothing that this experience is supposed to be.

You are just breathing,

Observing,

And allowing.

Trusting your breath and trusting life through life.

Observing and seeing right now.

Can you say yes to it?

Can you let it in and be with yourself?

Be with the parts of you that you've been ignoring or suppressing.

The part of you that's been begging for your attention,

Perhaps an inner child,

An inner teenager.

The part of you that just wants to be loved or validated or to have attention.

Can you invite that part of you in?

And breathe with them.

Let them know that they're not alone and that you love them and you're listening now.

Every breath that you breathe,

Breathe it fully.

Bring your full attention to this breath.

Notice what it feels like to breathe this way,

This deeply,

This quickly.

And you can get off the ride at any time.

Remember your no's are the breaks.

But maybe today is the day that you really go for it.

Let's go for it together.

Let's breathe through this together.

And if you're feeling a lot of resistance,

Just know that you won't be feeling the same thing in just a few minutes.

So just be with it for now.

Something new is coming.

Something new is coming.

And as you breathe in,

You are breathing in the light of existence,

The life force energy that ignites every cell in your body.

And this ignition of life force allows you to remember who you are,

What you are,

What you came here for.

All you have to do is breathe.

Breathing through the resistance,

Breathing through the sensation,

Allowing any tears to fall,

Letting yourself feel to let yourself heal.

Nourishing every cell,

The trillions of cells in your body,

Nourishing them with every breath,

With every piece of yourself,

Putting these pieces back together,

Back into wholeness,

Into unity.

As you breathe your way back to well-being,

You breathe to remember.

As these sensations arise in your body,

You might feel uncomfortable.

I wonder if you can breathe through the discomfort.

If you feel pain,

You can stop.

Otherwise,

I encourage you to keep going and notice how you feel.

Observe the sensations.

Observe your emotions.

You can trust your breath.

Your breath has always been there from the day that you were born until the day you die.

Your breath will always be there.

It is the one consistent,

Solid,

And stable thing that you can count on.

And all of these sensations that you're feeling,

This is your body speaking to you.

Your body doesn't speak English.

It speaks through sensation.

It speaks through emotion,

Through feeling,

Through temperature changes,

Tingling.

Just notice,

Observe,

And allow,

And trust that you're safe and that your body won't give you anything you cannot handle.

Embrace the challenge.

This is challenging,

Like most things in life that are worth doing.

But when you breathe through it,

Through this effort,

There might be great reward on the other side.

What if everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of this exercise?

There's only one way to find out.

Stay with your breath and keep going.

I invite you to make a fist with your hands.

Squeeze your fists,

And imagine that you're holding on to that old story,

That limitation.

What have you been grappling with?

What have you been holding on to?

Is it the identity of who you think you are at work?

Is it the toxic relationship you've been trying to leave?

Is it the story that you're not good enough,

Or not qualified enough,

Or the imposter syndrome?

Whatever it is,

Think of it now and grasp it in your fists,

And notice how uncomfortable it is to hold on to this,

And it's time to let it go.

So on your next exhale,

Let's just let that go together.

On the count of three,

Breathing in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Let it go.

Ah,

Make a sound,

Ah,

Let that go.

You don't need to hold on to that anymore.

You can let it go,

And allow the space to be filled with love and presence of the divine light that surrounds you now.

Let that empty space where this energy was once held be filled with divine light and divine love.

You have integrated the lessons from this thing that you've just let go of.

You find yourself walking barefoot through a forest.

Take a look around at the trees and the plants.

The line of ants that scurry their way up and down the tree bark.

The cushy,

Mossy forest floor that supports your feet as you walk,

And the golden sun that peeps through the leaves.

You feel alive and held by the loving support of this forest.

You continue in this forest until you make your way into a clearing.

The clearing includes a bonfire,

And many of your loved ones surrounding the bonfire.

One of these loved ones has a specific message for you.

They've been trying to reach you,

And they want to tell you something.

So just sit with them and listen.

This gift from your loved one.

Allow yourself to feel whatever you need to feel.

You return to the bonfire and you begin singing and chanting and playing instruments together,

Dancing around the fire,

Enjoying being alive,

Enjoying your humanness,

Remembering what it was like before phones and technology,

Remembering what it means to be human.

Your inner child steps forward now.

Your inner child is a younger version of yourself,

This pure,

Innocent,

Loving part of you,

Playful,

Whimsical,

Curious.

Trust whatever you see,

Whatever you feel.

Connecting deeply with this part of yourself,

Ask them,

What do you need right now?

How can I love you more?

Deeply listen to what they have to say,

Providing your presence and unconditional love.

Seek to give your inner child what they need,

Whether that be a hug,

A high-five,

Or simply a listening ear.

If your inner child needs safety,

You can wrap them in your arms or in a bubble of golden light,

Or call upon a protective energy,

Such as a bear,

A jaguar,

A knight in shining armor.

Allow your inner child to be protected,

Safe,

And loved in your presence,

And in the presence of your loved ones around the fire.

Making your way back to the fire,

Continuing the song,

The dance,

The connection.

See and feel roots underneath of the ground,

The roots of the tree,

Your energetic roots that move beneath the surface.

Feel the mycelial network of mushrooms and plants and roots and energy systems as they intertwine together.

Feel your interconnectedness and your oneness with all of life,

And breathe into that.

Begin to wiggle your toes,

Your hands,

Starting to invite some life back into your body.

Take a deep breath into your belly,

And open mouth exhale,

Sigh it out.

Let's do one more together,

Waking up the body,

Breathing in deeply,

Stretching your toes,

Stretching your hands,

And exhale,

Sighing it all out.

Bend your knees and cradle yourself here.

Roll over to your side,

Offering yourself some gentle,

Loving touch,

Acknowledging the work that you've done today for yourself.

Gently press up to a seated position,

And we'll seal our practice with three oms.

Om is the primordial sound that represents all that is.

It represents the beginning,

The middle,

And the end,

The past,

Present,

And future,

Bringing it all into unity through our breath and sound.

Empty out all of your air,

Take a deep breath in.

Thank you for joining me on this breathwork journey.

I would love to hear from you how this felt in your body.

You're welcome to leave me a review with your experience,

Or simply grab your journal and write down whatever you saw or experienced.

Thinking back to your journey,

What would you like to take with you into your life?

This breathwork journey is now complete.

Thank you for being here.

I'll see you in the next one.
