Welcome to this meditation where we will witness what is happening right now,
Allowing yourself to settle into a comfortable position,
Letting your eyes gently come to a close,
Observing the darkness behind your closed eyelids,
Noticing how your body is breathing in this very moment,
Observing the air flowing in and flowing out,
Acknowledging that life is a continuous flow and we don't need to hold on to any part of it,
Noticing any thoughts that arise in your mind right now,
Observing the thoughts as thoughts,
There is no need to push your thoughts away or follow them,
It is completely natural to get carried away by thoughts,
Gently bringing your attention back to your breath with kindness for yourself,
Observing thoughts as they are teaches us how they come and go but we still remain,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Resting in this moment of stillness and peace,
Watching your thoughts as you might watch birds flying across the sky,
There is no need to do anything in this moment,
Noticing each breath and feeling more connected to this present moment,
Knowing that each moment you spend here observing your thoughts deepens your path to inner peace,
Feeling your body resting on the surface beneath you,
Acknowledging that this moment is complete within itself,
Gently bringing your awareness back into the room in your surroundings,
As you feel ready,
Gently allowing your eyes to open,
Knowing that your thoughts come and go but you remain here.
