
5 Minute Humming For Calm – With Monochord

This short humming sound meditation gently supports calm, grounding, and nervous system relaxation. Take a gentle pause and allow sound to guide you back into calm. You may hum along with the sound or simply listen and receive the vibration. In this short sound meditation, soft humming is accompanied by the warm, resonant tones of the monochord. The steady vibration of the instrument and the human voice create a soothing field of sound that invites the body to soften and the mind to settle. Humming naturally stimulates the vagus nerve and can support the nervous system in shifting from tension into a state of ease and balance. Even a few minutes of sound can make a difference. Let the breath slow, allow the body to soften, and rest in the calming resonance of humming and monochord.
