Welcome to the meditation for fear and letting go.

So we'll begin this meditation by simply taking some breaths.

So I invite you to close your eyes or have a soft gaze down to the floor.

And as you close your eyes,

Begin to sit comfortably and settle in to your body.

We'll begin by taking five deep breaths.

Breath number one.

Breathe all the way in and suspend.

And exhale all the way out till you have nothing left in hold.

Blowing it all out,

Emptying your body.

In through the nose out through the mouth.

Go ahead and do it at your own pace.

Breathing in and out through the mouth.

Take that last deep breath,

Inhaling all the way in.

And then exhaling all the way out.

Emptying yourself and keeping your eyes closed,

Moving now from the conscious movement of breath to the conscious awareness of breath.

Noticing the subtle difference of what it feels like to exert your will and effort to breathe.

The choice you have,

The sovereignty you have to choose to breathe and then to switch into letting go and letting the breath pick up where you left off.

Noticing that when you do this,

You are no longer breathing but something is breathing you.

And just noticing the breath itself with wonder and curiosity.

How is it that I'm able to breathe without breathing,

Without exerting any effort or will?

What is this intelligence within me that loves me so much that keeps me alive?

Recognizing the trust you have for this intelligence.

You don't try to change it.

You don't try to fix it.

You let yourself be breathed over and over and over again.

Feeling the familiarity and reliability and consistency,

The certainty you have for this breath.

Knowing that you can just focus on other things,

Function through life knowing that this breath will always happen in the background.

And that this breath has been with you since day one.

And will be with you for many years to come.

And now expanding beyond the breath.

Recognizing and noticing with wonder that this intelligence also keeps your heart beating.

Both breathing and beating a natural rhythm.

You don't have to set the rhythm.

Just so happens to have a perfect rhythm.

Like the ebbs and flows of the ocean.

Like the seasons of life.

The certainty you have that your heart will always beat another beat.

And this intelligence lives beyond you.

It is keeping the sun rising.

And the oceans ebbing and flowing.

Life living.

All of life.

Every being.

Existing.

Evolving.

Just recognizing with wonder and noticing how it is that you don't try to fix the sun.

You just trust that it will rise.

There is a certainty a surrender that you have for all of this that already exists within you.

Feeling that certainty and that trust and that surrender that already lives inside of you.

What does that feel like in your body?

Now let us simply listen.

This is an invitation to simply listen.

Listen to what's inside of you.

Listening to the thoughts.

Listening to the sensations.

Whatever it is that you're experiencing.

Just like the breath.

Just like the sun.

It's perfect.

On purpose.

So just allowing it to be there.

Not trying to change your experience.

In any way.

Just noticing as this observer that you are with wonder and curiosity.

What is it that I'm experiencing right now?

And instead of resisting or batting it away,

Be with it.

Brefriend it.

Experience it.

Exactly as it is.

Breathing into it.

As if it were a body of water diving into it head first.

And really holding this quality of curiosity.

And recognizing that it is just a sensation.

It is just temporary.

It is just a cloud.

A storm.

And you are the blue sky.

What does it feel like to be the blue sky among the clouds?

The blue sky that is boundless,

Timeless,

Unshakable,

Unbreakable.

You cannot hurt the blue sky.

You cannot move the blue sky.

It is always there.

Feeling this relationship with the sensation,

With the thoughts as the blue sky.

How is it different?

You are not your thoughts.

You are not your emotions.

You are not this body.

You are not this mind.

You are the blue sky.

You are a stream of consciousness.

A focal point in the universe.

You are not in the universe.

You are the universe.

Feeling the expansiveness of what this means for you.

Now whatever it is that you are feeling afraid of,

Whatever it is that might have provoked the sensation,

Some may call it anxiety,

I call it energy,

It is a temporary sensation.

Think about what might have triggered it.

Coming from this lens of I am the blue sky,

I am the universe,

Experiencing this temporary event for a moment.

And allowing yourself to feel whatever you feel in relation to that fear.

Breathing through the sensation,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Breathing right through it.

Bring your hands together,

Palm over hand,

Hand on top of the other,

Bringing them to the sensation.

Pressing in,

Breathing in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Allowing yourself to process,

To experience it fully,

Feel it.

I am afraid.

And now shifting from I am afraid to I have a part of me that is afraid.

I am experiencing fear.

I the blue sky am experiencing a cloud.

I see the cloud,

I feel the cloud,

The cloud is temporary and I am the blue sky.

Unshakeable,

Boundless,

Timeless.

Connected to all of life.

Connected to the breath,

Connected to the sun.

And now bringing your attention now down to the base of your spine,

To your root.

And imagining roots coming out of the base of your spine and breaking through the ground,

Breaking through the earth's crust.

And traveling with the velocity through the mantle,

Down to the core,

The fiery core of the earth.

And inhaling the vitality,

The energy,

The fire of the earth.

Feeling your roots spread,

Branching out to maybe meeting other roots.

Feeling connected to the earth,

Supported by the entire earth.

And repeating after me,

I am safe.

I am already safe.

I am already okay.

I am supported by the entire universe.

I am the universe.

And now bringing your attention as the observer up through your body and up into the heart,

The fourth chakra.

Bring your hands up to your chest,

Opening up your chest,

Shoulders relaxed,

Spine straight,

Breathing into the heart,

Bringing in gratitude.

I am alive.

I am breathing.

I am thankful for.

Bringing into mind a person and experience something that you are deeply grateful for.

Feeling the love of this source,

The blessings in your life.

Expanding this gratitude,

This love in your heart with each breath,

Like a glowing light.

Allowing this light to emanate every cell of your body.

Like painted with gold.

And bringing love to every cell of your body.

Thank you.

Thank you for supporting me.

Thank you for keeping me alive.

Thank you for loving me so much that you help me do my work.

You help me in my mission.

You help me support me in ways I have never thanked you for.

Thank you.

Giving yourself a big hug.

Squeezing with so much love.

I am already safe.

I am already okay.

I am supported by the universe.

I am the universe.

And now releasing a hug and bringing your attention up.

I am now releasing a hug to the brow point in between your eyes,

The third eye.

The sixth chakra.

And this is the part of you that is wise,

Feeling connected to the knowingness,

The deep truth within you,

The deep knowingness within you,

Your intuition.

Bringing your head back slightly,

Tilting your head back slightly to feel the pressure in between your eyebrows.

Feeling connected to all.

To the certainty within you,

To the intelligence within you.

Connected to the intelligence of all.

The infinite intelligence of the universe of all of life.

Always accessible to you.

Breathing through this part of you as if you had lungs in between your eyes.

Breathing into this space.

Breathing in trust.

And now once again bringing that observer up now to the top of your crown,

The top of your head.

Seeing your mind's eye,

Your attention.

Touching the top of your head.

And opening up that space,

Feeling that open up.

Your connection to the divine,

Your connection to the universe.

Seeing a white bright light with gold speckles coming in from the heavens into the top of your head.

Bathing you every cell of your body.

Breathing through this part of you as if you had lungs on the top of your head.

And now once again bringing your attention back to the breath where it all started.

This time coming back and feeling a little different.

A little more connected,

A little more certain,

A little more grounded.

Feeling the difference.

Noticing.

Once again seeing this intelligence within you with wonder as you are being breathed by life.

And that everything in your life,

Every moment,

Every second is a part of the natural rhythm.

I am safe.

I am already safe.

I am already okay.

I am the universe.

And now ending with three deep breaths.

Inhaling all the way in through the nose,

Exhaling all the way out through the mouth.

Inhaling your awareness.

Your consciousness and exhaling will,

Choice.

Inhaling awareness.

Exhaling will and choice.

And one last breath.

Inhaling consciousness and awareness.

And exhaling will and choice.

I am safe.

I am already safe.

I am already okay.

I am the universe.

I am the universe.
